"Snakefang? Are you in here?" Diamondkit called, her voice echoing through the medicine den. She could feel the weight of Softkit on her shoulder. She hit her head pretty hard. "Snakefang?" she called again, hoping that the medicine cat would respond. "Softkit's hurt her head, and her memory is all fuzzy. Can you help her?"
Diamondkit turned to Softkit, a worried look in her eyes. "How are you feeling? Is your head any better?" she asked, hoping Softkit would be alright. This was all my fault. If I hadn't pounced on her and pushed her to the ground...I hope this doesn't stop her from being an apprentice. |

I paused from my washing, then sighed. "Bring her in here so I can take a look," I stood up and grumbled to myself about kits getting hurt way too much these days.

Softkit looked in the dark. "Snakefang were are you?"She said in a frustrated voice. Her head was sore really bad. The sore was the same and might even be getting worse. "My head is just sore!"She hissed. Softkit doesn't usually act like this. She then flopped on the grown. She didn't care were she was. She closed her eyes. I hope this is a dream she said in her head. Her green eyes opened, it isn't a dream. She moaned and kept on moaning. "Diamondkit, when is it going to stop?" She asked Diamondkit while looking up at her.

"It's alright, don't worry, Softkit, Snakefang's here. He'll make it stop soon. I sure hope he can. Diamondkit licked Softkit's head again, trying to sooth her friend and calm her down. "Snakefang," she began. Uh-oh. Now I have to explain to him what happened. "Softkit and I were playing clan," she began, before Snakefang could even ask. Her warm brown eyes gazed up into his. "We were play-fighting on top of a fairly high rock. I...pounced onto Softkit, and I-I pushed her off if the rock. She hit her head prett badly, and she can hardly remember anything. Can you heal her?" |

I sifted through my herbs. "Lets see here...Catmint is for greencough...Cobwebs, no...Watermint, no...Ah, poppy seeds. I have nothing for headache, but this little seed will ease the pain and make you sleepy. Eat two of them only. Three or more could be fatel."

Fatal! Why in the name of Cloudclan would Snakefang keep fatal herbs in the medicine storage? Diamondkit thought as she turned to Softkit. "See?" she said, smiling as she forced back her worry that Snakefang was feeding her friend fatal herbs. "Now the pain will stop," she added, glancing worridly at Snakefang. |

Snakefang gave Softkit the poppy seeds. She licked them up and swallowed them. Her head felt kind of better, but it still hurt a little. "Should I sleep her or in the nursery."She said. She was really tired, so she just collapsed on one of the fresh moss. Immediately she fell asleep.
(Sorry lazy)

Diamondkit smilied once she saw her friend feeling better. Wait, she's not dead, is she? Giggling at her crazy thoughts, she looked up at Snakefang. "Do you want me to make a nest around her?" Diamondkit asked. She realized that she would be getting bored really soon, seeing as her friend Softkit wouldn't be there with her, and she wanted something to occupy her time. |

"Eh, she looks comfy enough already. I wouldn't disturb her," I grunted and looked back down at my herbs. "Say, the queens will need some parsley. Mind taking some to them?" I lifted up a small herb. "They'd appreciate the help."

"Sure, I'd love to," Diamondkit eagerly replied, taking the parsley in her mouth. It had a sharp smell to it, and the outside of it didn't have much of a taste from inside her jaw. She carried the parsley to the nursery, taking her time. She was glad to have something to occupy her time, she wasn't going to rush through it quickly and end up with nothing to do.
(just asking, why exactly would the queens need parsley? It's supposed to stop a mother's milk if her kits fie, and all three queens are currently nursing.) |

Diamondkit continued padding along to the nursery, the parsley in her mouth magically tansforming into borage.
