A den needed to be cleaned, well, three did, but the den of Firelight was to be cleaned first. So, a pretty, older apprentice padded silently into the quiet Elder's den, and padded first to Shadowwing's nest, which had fresh moss. Then, she went to Firelight's nest, which was a total mess. She dropped the clean moss that she had brought, and scooped all the old, wet stuff out of the nest. She put it into a neat bunch, and then fluffed the newer, clean moss across the nest. She waved her tail, and sighed. She was done. She picked up the old moss and trotted outside, to throw the mess away somehow.
