Falconwing padded into the den, his eyes searching for Brightflame. He was growing fond of the medicine cat, becoming friends and hopefully, close friends.
"Hey Brightflame? Do you have any herbs for pains?" he asked, his blue eyes darting around the den, flicking his tail.

I look up when I hear his voice, "Well whaddaya know! Falconwing it's been a while." I purr. He had been one of the few people who had been friendly to me, not my position. "Pains...well I've got things for stomach pains, throat pains, cut pains, muscle pains..." I study you for a moment, "Although my guess is the latter...your left shoulder?"

Falconwing laughed.
"What gave it away?" he meowed and thought for a bit. Cut pains might work. Maybe Muscle pains. He shrugged, then gritted his teeth.
"Well, I don't know what'll hurt, I just know that it hurts badly. Herbs for muscle pains and cut pains might work. I'm not so sure," he said, flicking his tail.

I grin, "You're not standing up as straight as you usually do. Plus you seem really tense, all of which seems to be focused on that shoulder." I say as I dig through the herb store. Finally I find what I'm looking for and give them to you. "Easy these. You're going to feel warm for a short while. Sort of like when you look at somebody you like, and then the pain will fade." I tell you.

Falconwing nodded and lapped up the herbs, warmth spreading through his body. He pictured Silverfrost and then shook his head to clear his mind. His shoulder ached dully, then the small stinging eased away. He sighed and nodded to Brightflame.
"Thanks. I feel much better. So, how are things?" The tom asked, while working his shoulder as if it was stiff.

I shrug, "It's fine. It's fun but it's definitely a lot of work. I rarely ever have time to talk with my friends." I sigh, "But it's always worth it when you know that you've done something for your clanmates, something that will make them stronger." I say, smiling proudly. "Besides, being there for the likes of you always makes the day brighter." I laugh, nudging you playfully.

Falconwing curled his tail. He smiled slighty.
"Don't you miss the older days when you were a warrior? Serving your clan by protecting it and hunting for it?" he asked, sitting down to release some tension in his muscles.

I look down at my paws, "Well...I never really liked fighting. Even when somebody was pushing me around I always needed a friend to stand up for me. Just like the incident with Frostpaw." I say, embarrassed, "I know, I'm kinda pathetic..." I mutter.

"You're not pathetic. Just, some cats-er. Some cats aren't..." Falconwing stuttered. He didn't know what to say.
"Here. Every cat needs something to help it along. Like for me, I need peace. You need friends. Wildstar needs her clan. Her Iceclan needs Wildstar. So, that's not pathetic. It's just simple needs," he meowed, hoping the medicine cat could understand his example.

I smile slightly, "Thanks for trying." I say. I look up at you and purr, batting your nose with my paw playfully, "It was just too much for your small mind to handle." I laugh. "It's been a while since I've had anybody to stand up for me. I'm glad to have you as a best friend." I say, feeling like I did as a kit.

Falconwing brushed the "small mind" comment. He laughed.
"Oh, I don't think I'm your best friend," the tabby meowed, his cheeks turning pink slightly from embarrassment. he shrugged and lowered his head.

I purr, "Well you're one of my very few friends, and you're the best one. Not to mention you're the only one who isn't scared of standing up for me. I admire that." I say warmly. "I might not be yours, but you'll always be mine." I tell you.

Falconwing gave half a smile.
"Well...thanks," He purred deeply and wrapped his tail around his paws, a cool smile on his face as he looked around the den.

I purr back, "Of course." I say, my tail drifting lazily back and forth. "So...erm...are you going on any patrols later? Because I'm running low on a few things and I'll need some help carrying them." I say hopefully.

"I haven't been on a patrol in a long time, so yeah, I can help you," he mewed, getting up and stretching and looked at Brightflame.
"So, what do you need?" he asked.
