"Snakefang,sunblaze?" she mews " i have a thorn in my paw" she mews. Lifting her paw up then lies down waiting for the medicine cat to come. She rested her head on her left paw and set her right paw gently on the ground.

I padded out from the back of my den, where I had been making goldenrod poltuices. I looked at the thorn in Skypaw's paw, and I leaned down, grasped it between my teeth, and pulled it out. Then I rubbed some marigold against the place where the thorn had been, so that it wouldn't get any infection. I thought about it, then decided to play it safe than sorry, and got some cobwebs and wrapped them around Skypaw's paw. "There you go. Back to training for you!"
