Swanpaw's eyes sparkled as she entered the den for the first time. Her tail twitched excitedly. She was looking for a spot to put her nest. She had all the materials to make it, now all she needed was a spot. She yawned. Dawn was stretching and coming soon. She had awoken early from her last sleep in the nursery to come make her nest and head out to do apprentice duties! She was so excited, she could hardly wait! She almost let out a squeal, but remembered not to act like a kit. The sleek, pretty black and white she-cat started to walk in, finally, and search thoroughly for a den.

As the younger apprentice was finished with her prey she got up and started to pad towards the apprentices' den. Her beautiful sleek silver fur with ginger patches flow as it caught the gust of wind that took place. Her name was Anemonepaw. A fairly young apprentice. Her amber eyes glistened with a smile to go with it, of course she was in a good mood today.

As she walked in the apprentices' den she saw a newer apprentice. Black and white she-cat to be exact. Maybe she should say a kind greeting. Anemonepaw didn't know very many apprentices and it's good to know the new ones to. She wished that Cricketkit would become an apprentice soon. He was her best friend also adopted brother, she was biological of Silversplash and he was adopted of Silversplash. After she got him out of his grumpy shell he completely turned around and started to be a really good friend of Anemonepaw's. Of course she did need friend since all of them were in the nursery still and yet she didn't have many in the nursery.

Padding straight up to the new apprentice she gave a friendly welcoming smile. "Greetings. My name is Anemonepaw." she meowed. She did recognize her from the nursery but never spoke to the cat. So she didn't know the name. Well, she would now anyways.

Swanpaw turned around, curiosity filling her eyes now. She was pretty sure that this cat was Anemonepaw. She had seen her around before, and was slightly sure that she was from her mother's first litter. Swanpaw was in Silversplash's second litter. "Hello, I'm Swanpaw," she greeted with a grin, "Who are you?" She kept looking for a nest as she waited for the she-cat's reply. She seemed nice enough to be her friend. All you have to do to be Swanpaw's friend is say hello. So, she had a lot of friends. But her best friends were almost all in the nursery, except for Rush and Honey, who became apprentices with her. It was going to feel nice to make a new friend now that she was older and in a new place. Although she was going to miss her siblings, almost all still kits, and all her best friends, including Twisty, Bunny, and Hazel Nut, she was going to have fun as an apprentice. Besides, they'd become apprentices soon too. Right?

Anemonepaw looked at the black and white splashed she-cat. "I'm Anemonepaw, like I said before. It's nice to meet you Swanpaw." she greeted. "Who is your mentor?" she asked. She decided to have just a normal conversation. The same old questions every new apprentice would recieve. Possibly moving into a different conversation after the basics.
