Deadly Wound on Neck is Infected!

After the battle Anemonepaw just had enough strength to go to the medicine cat's den. She picked herself up and slowly limped in pain into the camp. She was on her way to death when CloudClan saved her. Now that could happen again if she doesn't get help this time. Last time she was on her own in the hands of CloudClan's decision to help her live. The long and deep wound blood crusted wound was still trickling blood fast and it was all Redfoot's fault! She could tell, her wound was starting to get infected.

Entering the medicine cat's den she called, "Help! Sunblaze! Snakefang! I need help!" Anybody could've heard her, even on the other side of the camp. When she walked it just made it hurt even more. Even after the medicine cat's helped her they would close it up after all the care they do. She wouldn't be able to move for a few days because it would open right up again.

I grabbed some burdock root on her wound, then gave her a couple of poppy seeds. "Rest in my den for a couple of days, no activiness for a while, and that is that, understand?"

[Anemonelight]

Anemonepaw felt the relief of burdock root go through her wound. It made if feel cool. "I understand." she meowed nodding her head. Of course this ment a delay in her training but that didn't matter. She could hurt herself training with an unhealed wound. "Thank you Snakefang." she meowed full of gratefullness to have the medicine cat to be there to help her.

"Now go rest," I meowed, flicking my tail at one of the nests. "I don't want that wound opening up again, Anemonepaw. It's bad enough it was infected. I guess FireClan cats don't clean their claws."
