I rushed into the den, furious with Darkstar. I hated her. I HATED HER!!! "THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN!" I snarled, my pelt puffed up as I spat out the word 'again'. My heart was hammering, and my ears pricked as I waited for Hawkstar or Dawnmist.

The silver warrior looked at Snakefang. 'Relax Snakefang, we are aware of it. We know the loss of your herbs. but right now we are concerned about hazelkit.' the deputy said sitting curling her tail neatly around her paws.

"But this is what I'm worried about!" I started pacing around the den. "Getting Hazelkit back is important, but we can't just rush into battle again. FireClan swamped us. We have to get Hazelkit back...secretly. Another battle could end our herb supply."

Hawkstar merely watched Snakefang rage for a moment before speaking.

"Well we can't retaliate unfortunately. Not with our numbers. Not against Fireclan."

"Thats what I mean!" I snapped my attention to my leader. "Hawkstar, another battle could wipe us out for good. FireClan's numbers are too big. We have to get Hazelkit back without fighting!"
