Bad squirrel

[Eagleheart]

Eaglepaw slowly padded into the medicine cat's den. Her stomach was churning from the squirrel she ate earlier. She had never felt so sick. The squirrel must have had something in it to make her feel so queasy. "Snakefang? Sunblaze?" she called out, hoping she wasn't disturbing them.

[Snakefang]

I set some chervil at Eaglepaw's paws. "This will stop your belly ache. Is there anything else that hurts? If there is, then what did you eat?" I askes as I sat down in front of the apprentice.

[Eagleheart]

Eaglepaw swallowed the fowl-tasting herbs. She gagged for a moment, then replied, "I ate a squirrel this morning. It tasted fine, but I had to sit in my den for a while because of the stomachache a got afterward. I also had to use the dirtplace a lot."

[Snakefang]

I grumbled. "So many bad squirrels lately, it seems like. Anyways, that chervil will stop the belly ache. Now, go get some rest in your den. If you can't sleep, come back and I'll give you some poppy seed."

[Eagleheart]

Eaglepaw was beginning to feel better already. "Thanks!" she mewed before dissappearing from the medicine cat's den.
