Mosspaw padded into the apprentice den and smelled the air. The scent was different than the nursery, there was no milk scent and no kits running around everywhere. Mosspaw made herself a nest, noticing the strong smell of pine and oak. "Probably from the den and the sticks I am using for the nest" she figured. Several voices floated in from outside and came closer and closer to the den. Mosspaw trembled in excitement, they were probably other apprentices! "Hello?" she mewed curiously.

Hearing a voice, Cavernpaw peeked into the apprentices den and saw a new apprentice. He strode in and introduced himself "Hi! I'm Cavernpaw. Who are you?"

Softpaw walked into the den, caring three mice. One for her and the others for someone other cats who wants it. She heard a voice call out "hello". She saw a cat that she didn't know, but looked familiar. It seemed like Cavernpaw was with the other apprentice. "Hello."She mewed. "Want a mouse?"She asked the other she-cat and Cavernpaw.

Friends. A knew thing for Dogpaw. She was receiving her warrior ceremony soon since she was getting her assessment soon as well. She might as well make some friends. "Hello I'm Dogpaw!" she said trying to act like everyone else.

Mosspaw's eyes sparkled "Hello Cavernpaw, my names Mosspaw" she mewed proudly. Softpaw offered her a mouse and she realized that in her excitement... She had nearly starved herself! "Thank you" she mewed, taking a bite from her mouse "I remember you from the nursery Softpaw.". Mosspaw swallowed "But I haven't met you before Cavernpaw... Do you want to talk for a minute?". She suddenly noticed Dogpaw, standing off to the side and she mewed "Hi Dogpaw"

Cavernpaw nodded to Dogpaw "Hello, I'm Cavernpaw" he introduced himself again. He then turned to Mosspaw and replied "Sure"

"Hi Dogpaw."Softpaw mewed. She never met her before in person, but she heard nice things about Dogpaw. "Im getting my final assessment soon."She said in an excited voice. "By the way my name is Softpaw." She mewed.

Mosspaw smiled and took another bite of mouse "Thanks, I like your name too... Dogpaw. It's different.". She swallowed and pushed the mouse towards Dogpaw "Want to share?"

"Sure" she said. She took a small polite bite of the mouse. she was almost a warrior and had never even shared prey before!
