[Prairiesong]

Prairiesong walked into her mates den, carrying a plump rabbit, she smiled. "Hey love, i brought you some dinner, would you like to share?" she asked, her eyes lighting up when she saw him. She had never loved a tom as much as she loved Hawkstar. She walked over to him, more or less ran, dropped the rabbit and pounced on him, covering him with affectionate licks. "Miss me?" she purred with laughter.

[Hawktalon]

Hawkstar was feeling a little under the weather so his reactions were slow. Probably got sick talking to Birdshadow in the rain all night. Oh well. It was worth it and he did feel better when Prairiesong walked in bringing him food.

He purred and lovingly licked her nose "I did miss you," he replied "And your hunting skills," he said as he gently rolled her down to the ground with him on top of her. "I'm starving." he said with a smirk wondering if she caught the double meaning.

Prairiesong purred and smiled up at him, she was completely oblivious to his double meaning. "How have you been? I haven't seen you in awhile" she meowed sadly, with her training her apprentices and him doing his leader duties she didn't get to see him as often. "I love you, Hawkstar." she meowed, not bothering to use his nickname because she was being serious.

"I love you too." he replied touching her chin with his tail. Now thinking about it he did give her a lot of apprentices and that did give them limited time together. But she was a good warrior and a good mentor. She seemed very motherly and he wondered why she never became a queen like Sweetfur or Silversplash. It was a shame that they couldn't have kits of their own together. But that was how clan life worked these days. He remembered back in the day where you could be with anyone you wanted and wondered if he should start implanting a new policy in Rockclan. it just seemed so wrong and restricted. Something Hawkstar didn't like after being captured and forced to be a kittypet for around three months.

"I've been good. Missing you every second though..." he said while rubbing against her soft fur.

[Prairiesong]

Prairiesong purred. "You know, Swanpaw and Softpaw are about to be warriors, so that means I will have only Hornetpaw and Dustpaw, and Hornetpaw is close to being a warrior as well." she meowed, hinting at the fact she's about to have alot of free time for him and her. "I've missed you too, hence why I came in here and tackled you, and brought you dinner." she purred and licked his nose. "Now if you don't mind I would love to get up." she meowed, reminding him that she was still pinned beneath him.

Hawkstar had indeed forgotten he was on top of her which seemed a silly thing to forget but Hawkstar was a silly cat underneath the leadership. After all it was He, Wildstar and Sparrowfeather who had snuck out to mess around with catnip on occasion...okay only twice but still. It was fun and it was a secret he had kept a long time.

He made a fake gasp "You must really do love me," he purred teasingly "And what if I don't want to get up, hmmm?"

Prairiesong sighed and licked his face, "If you don't get off me I will have to lick your face again." she meowed. She was flirting with her mate, which was nice because she was so lonely without him. "I've really missed you hawky.." she meowed softly, and sadly.

Another fake gasp escaped Hawkstar's mouth "That would be awful! We can't have that can we?" he asked licking her cheek again before rolling off her. He walked over to the prey and sniffed it. He was ravenous but it seemed rude to eat with her there.

"Would you like to share, Prairie?" he offered her with a small smile.

[Prairiesong]

Prairie gave a small smile and nodded her pretty little head, "Sure babe." she meowed to her handsome mate, who she loved more than anything in the world, even though he has that stupid llama flashing thing that is annoying and distracting.

"I love you Alex Utsch Hawkstar." she purred.

[Hawktalon]

He smiled and turned the prey over to her with his paw giving her the first bite.

"I love you too, Kady Hutchins" he said with a smile.

Prairie took a small bite and looked up at him, "Your so purrfect" see what i did there?? xD she meowed and smiled.
