Help Me (Honeyfang/Snakefang/Sunblaze)

[Talonfang]

Talonfang stumbled into the Medicine Cat Den. His eyes had swelled up. Blood still poured into them. "Snakefang" he cried desperatly. His accident had happened on a hunting trip. A rabbit had scratched his eyes. He was afraid they would get infected. Then he would be blind. (That won't actually happen okay)

"Snkefang" Honeyfang called louder. "You'll be ok talonfang." she said trying to calm him.

I raised my head and looked over at Talonfang. "Oh dear." I stood up and padded to the back of the den where I kept my herb supply. I grabbed some marigold and went to work on the young warrior's eyes. I rubbed the marigold on his eyes, gave him a couple of poppy seeds so the pain wouldn't be as bad as it had been -plus he would fall asleep- and looked over at a nest. "Honeyfang, can you please guide Talonfang over to that nest? Talonfang, you may not go out on patrol or hunt until you can see. I will not allow it. That's final. Take that advice from a cat who's treated many cases before." 'If only Sunblaze was here right now. She'd be proud.' But the last time I saw my mentor, she'd been by the fresh-kill pile. Maybe she was out collecting herbs?
