"Me?" Mosspaw looked thoughtful "I want to be called Mossheart". Her tail twitched and she mewed "Lilypaw? Are you SURE you were an apprentice way before I was born? I have been through 3 mentors and haven't even had one training session". She slid onto her belly, enjoying the coolness of the floor against her pelt. "I like both of your names" she mewed, rolling over onto her back. Mosspaw sat up with her pelt sticking out like she ran backwards through a thorn bush "How do I look?". She strutted across the den before laughing as she cleaned her pelt off gently with her tongue.

[I'm ditching the format. It's 26 extra words, so I don't really know if I've done more that a hundred o not. X3 According to the date, Lily was made in February and Moos was made in July. XD The reason Lily has less posts is probably because I've been trying so hard not to be in more threads than three I've failed. <--- Right now I'm in my assessment, a thread in the camp, and two in the apprentices' den. XD Also, I've been waiting for about two months for my assessment, and in the middle of my training for two months, Foxtwist went on vacation or something for another month. Your older according to posts, though.]
I swivel my tabby head around to look at Mosspaw, a smile clear on my pretty face. "Mossheart's also nice," I mew thoughtfully. "It sounds brave and determined. Frailpetal sounds sweet and shy." I sit back on my haunches, reflecting. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure. There were like three and a half moons in my training where I didn't so anything." I frown, blinking. One of my large, golden ear flicks at Mosspaw as she messed up her fur. I giggle. "You look fabulous!" I exclaim, my iridescent orbs dancing with mirth. My long fur shakes as I laugh, and I laugh some more just to watch the funny movement of my tabby pelt.

Frailpaw laughed hysterically. She rolled on ground laughing so hard. "That's hilarious!" She exclaimed. Frailpaw sat up, trying to control her laughter. "It's nothing compared to this, though." She fluffed up her fur like Mosspaw did, but she twisted her face in a funny way and patted down her head fur, so it looked as if she was a puffball from only the neck down. "Look at me!" She followed in Mosspaw's footsteps. She shook her fur so it'd lay down when she was done. "Try to beat that." She said with a laugh. She looked at Lilypaw to see if she'd do it, but looked back at mosspaw to whom she had directed the challenge.

Mosspaw laughed equally hysterically at Frailpaw "Okay I will try". She padded through the back of the apprentice den to the thornbush behind the wall. Her fluffy fur kept her from being hurt as she ran through the bush and backwards out of it. Mossoaw rolled through a few leaves before screwing up her face and bushing out her tail like a pinecone. She laughed again "Beat THAT" she challenged, eyes shining in amusement.

I widen my stormy gray orbs, my long tail flicking. I tilt my head and say softly, "Oh yeah, that all you got?" I dart out of the apprentices' den, my perky whiskers pushed forward. I'm gone for awhile, re-entering a few minutes later with my ears and nose stuffed with forget-me-nots and my fur dappled with flashy red flowers. I lifted my nest up with my paws and carefully placed it onto my head, creating a sort of floppy hat. I narrowed my eyes cockily, one paw lifted in a model-like position. "You think you're hot?" I challenge, almost bursting with laughter.

Frailpaw laughed as each cat did their own thing. She laughed until she was nearly in tears. She thought a minute and then walked out od\f the den. She covered patches of herself in mud so it looked like she was a calico... sorta. Then, she rolled around in the grass and fluffed up the fur on her head. She bounded back into the apprentice's den and yelled, "Lookie, I'm a kit!" She jumped in the air, but fell and kicked her legs in the air like she did when she was younger. She raised one eyebrow, "What did ya think of that?" She asked, getting up and tilting her head to one side.

Mosspaw was laughing at Lilypaw and Frailpaw both. "I like your hat" she mewed, stiffling laughter. She looked thoughtful for a moment before running out of the den and over to a small puddle. She scampered back to the den with a wet pelt and she shook it out to make it spiky. Mosspaw padded back to the thornbush and made a crown of some sorts, plopping it onto her head "I am your queen!" she said in a loud voice. She puffed out her chest as she tried not to laugh. Suddenly she got another idea and ran off to find a large leaf. Mosspaw returned, somewhat valiantly, with the leaf on her back like a cape.

This is it. I'm stretched to my limits, and I finally crack like a nut, rolling on the floor and shaking with mirth. "Very..." I gasp between laughing fits, "Superherolike..." The last two words are slurred together due to the fact that I'm officially going crazy I'm still overcome by giggles. Wait a second... I stop. I frown. I never giggle. I pause, frozen on my back, paws stopped in random places. Could it be... I'm having fun? i've never had fun since... I realize the awful truth, and blink. Since Sunny left and came back. I shake the fling the thought away, filing it away for further thought later, and pretend nothing happened. I shake my floppy hat off and regard it regretfully. "I guess I'll have to re-make my nest," I say, mock-disappointed.

Mosspaw noticed Lilypaw's sudden drop in happiness, her misty eyes stopping their glittering. She struggled to rip out her "crown", rubbing her head with her paw. She shook off the leaf before looking around the den. "Uh, guys? We might actually have to re-make ALL of the nests". Pieces of the nests were scattered across the den and parts of the woven branches were falling out, leaving a gaping hole in the side of the den. Mosspaw's emerald green eyes widened and she moaned "Ahh we are mouse brains!". Even though the ground in the apprentice den had never been clean, this was really, really bad. Mud was streaked everywhere and the ground was uneven and rough. Flowers and such from their costumes were also laying around the den.

Frailpaw cringed, "That's going to be hard to pick up." She sighed. She had noticed Lilypaw's sudden change in mood, but decided not to ask her about it. They were friends now and if Lilypaw wanted to talk about it, she could. Frailpaw trusted her. But if Lilypaw didn't then Frailpaw wasn't going to pressure her into doing something she didn't want to. Frailpaw began picking up some pieces of moss and remaking nests. She only did a few when she relaized it would be hard to make the nests if she didn't pick up all ther costumes first. She began sweeping grass up with her tail. "Come one guys." She said, "maybe we could make a game out of this or something. Maybe we could change this into something fun." she smiled and looked at them to see what they would think. "We're going to have to do this, why not enjoy it?"

I smile, my slight form heaving into a standing position. "Just leave the grass and flowers," I say, a mischievous grin played about my lips. "If anyone asks, they're gifts to the other apprentices." I flick my tail dismissively and began to scrub up the mud using the moss from my nest. It needed to be changed anyway. After a minute, I put a bit of moss under each paw and sort of skate around the den, leaving clean tracks in the mess. "This is fun," I exclaim, "You should totally try it!" My eyes widen as I slip, my paws splaying for a second before a regain my scant balance.

Mosspaw followed Lilypaw's lead, laughing and slipping and sliding through the den. She started to hum a bit when she reached the hole in the wall, weaving it in perfect harmony against the wall. "Hey guys, listen to this!" she swept her tail back and forth behind her, making a soft rustling noise as she clicked and wove the wall back into place. Her hum changed pitch to match the beat she had made and it sounded sweet and melodic. Mosspaw listened to Lillypaw's sliding paws and it sounded really cool against her beat. Frailpaw's sweeping tail helped match Mosspaw's shuffling noise and she mewed "This sounds really cool".

Frailpaw looked as they skated. She nodded, "I hear it too," She said nodding her head. She kept sweeping her tail, gathering the grass and flowers into one perfect stack. The sound her fluffy tail made was cool. The whole sound was cool but it needed something else. She thought a minute but was interrupted as a piece of stray moss across the floor. She ignored it at first but t was just floating from place to place and was annoying her. She swatted her paw at it and her paw landed on top of it with a THUNK! She blinked and thunked again to the beat. that's what they needed. She batted her paws on the ground and swished her tail. They were creating music!

I laugh brilliantly, the sound ringing clearly throughout the empty den. I move more rhythmically, my slender paws balancing more easily each time I slide. My berry-pink nose twitches as a gnat flies into it and I pause to sneeze. The sound is small, just a little "'Choo," and I chuckle at it softly. My long tail waves above me like a golden flag, proudly shining in the gloomy den. My stormy gray eyes narrow in concentration as I pick up the beat again, my paws weaving in and out of each other in complicated patterns. I get to the end of the den and flip the moss so the clean side is down, proceeding to skate the other side of the den.

Mosspaw continued to laugh, listening to the thumping noise of Frailpaw's paws. She finished weaving the wall and she went back to sliding, scratching the new nests into their positions and swishing her tail to the beat. Her green eyes glowed softly for a moment "What if we could teach the whole clan to do this? Maybe it could be a new bonding thing during gatherings!". Her calico pelt flickered as the sun glowed through the tiny holes in the "roof" where it couldn't be completely weaved. Mosspaw suddenly realized that Lilypaw, Frailpaw, and herself were making a lightshow in the den while they moved "Hey, it looks like stars" she mewed in awe.
