Squirrelpelt, ever the fighter, was feeling irritable as ever and crawling to the Shared Clearing to let out some of her rage. For a sacred clearing, this was not something she figured Cloudclan would enjoy very much, but she couldn't care less. Who was to dictate that when it was not a gathering, that warriors could not go to the clearing to do whatever they wanted?
It was a black moonless night, and Squirrelpelt felt a thrill in leaving the clan's ruckus behind for a more suitable place for her tastes. Digging her claws into the dirt, she felt the soft soil of the area and began to feel a rush of blood through her veins, a pumping of her heart that she had no felt before.
There was nobody around--- an eerie night was exactly the kind that Squirrelpelt fancied. No kits to kill, no warriors to scold, just. Quiet.

plagued Wildstar tonight. jitters crawled underneath her thin Green Leaf pelt, which failed to shield her properly from the gale force winds. She squinted her eyes as she trekked down the steep mountain slopes. Thunderstripe could take care of the clan for the night...Wildstar had other places to be. She wasn;t exactly sure what places those were, but she let her chunk-muscular paws carry her.
Through the territories she prodded, eyes wide open like she has been possessed. She did not care if any other cats tried to stop her. She just kept walking...walking...walking until she reached the Shared Clearing. Wildstar stopped before she entered the hallow, and parted her jaw. But she didn't need to check for the scent when she saw Squirrelpelt right in front of her.
"Well, well, well," she hissed. "What have we here?"

Emberstorm paded in behind Wildstar. He mewed "Good afternoon WIldstar." he turned to Squirrelpelt and mewed "Hello there Squirrelpelt." He was shocked about Fireclan's reaction to him. Surely, they could understand. Oh who was he kidding! Fireclan had always been arrogent and he knew from a hands one experience. He was just happy in his new clan. It was hard to settle yes, yet he knew it was his destiny.
He sat down staring at the two highh ranking she cats. He wanted peace between the tow clans so bad. He was ready to snap if a fight broke out. If a fight broke here of all places, nothing was sacred. Hissing softly to himself, he continued to sit and wait for oothers to pour into this poor excuse for a clearing. He felt bad about leaving Fireclan but, the kits felt bad about nothing right? You are not Emberstorm! You are Emberkit! Leo's very words still chilled him to the bone. He was fairly tired, depressed and bummed out yet, he had to have fun right? Well that was a yes. He was just a senior warrior just like any other. Who knows, he might seem some faces old and new.

Smelled like a challenge, felt like a threat, and everything just signaled for Squirrelpelt to get going. She felt a tremor roll down her fur, and she snarled in anticipation. Her moods were never that great, and hardly permitted her to let anyone go, especially if they were in no-man's land.
'Wildstar.' That was the first of the few words she was willing to spare for her. It was like a timer, and each word was just another heartbeat until she would just snap and attack. But self-restraint must always be offered. They may have been long-term allies, but right now, Fireclan was beyond the power of all the clans. When they had invaded Iceclan, Squirrelpelt had been looking forward to clash with their leader. It seemed fate would not allow such an encounter in the open, and thus created another scenario for them on the darkest night. Cloudclan was turning a blind eye, and they would take advantage of this.
But then an unpleasant appearance of another Fireclan cat appeared from behind Wildstar. She crouched further and began to snarl more furiously towards her own warrior than she did towards the leader.
'What is a warrior doing this far from the clan?' Straightening herself to gain height over the foolish warrior who decided to even think of intervening when Squirrelpelt was in one of her worst moods. 'Is that a death wish? No lives will be spared on this moonless night.'

(Oops, I suppose we should have said that this thread is closed. This is where Squirrelpelt and I are going to battle to test out the attack feature, so it'll just be her and I for now. So Emberstep, you can make one reply like saying that you back up and just watch, but then don't post anything else. Thank e-you.)

Wildstar jumped to see her FireClan-turned-IceClan warrior behind her. Wildstar was so locked into her trance, that she had not noticed he had been following her down to the Shared Clearing. Thanks to him, Squirrelpelt saw Wildstar as a threat now, and any hopes of a peaceful night had been shattered.
"Emberstorm, stay back!" she hissed. "You wereb't supposed to come down here with me. Now please allow Squirrelpelt and I to take care of our business on our own."
She then turned to Squirrelpelt and said, "Don't worry. You won't be outmatched--well, at least not by number. But in strength and power? Well, no promises here."
Wildstar wasn't sure what she was getting herself into, but if it was a battle Squirrelpelt wanted, a battle she would get. The dark leader unsheathed her claws and tensed her muscles. There would be no way in CloudCLan that a deputy--an old cranky one, at that--would make a foolery of Wildstar.

"Anyone who stands in my way shall be eliminated--- Leaders," she stared hard at Wildstar, "Warriors" she turned her head towards the warrior... "and even Kits."
Squirrelpelt announced towards the foolish warrior and the IceClan leader-- who still seemed to think it'd be a nice idea to kindly tell the warrior to back off. Unfortunately it seemed that kindness was not a word easily used when describing Squirrelpelt for her attitude was cold, her temper sharp. Her battle experience ranged far and wide, for she was a bit bloodthirsty sometimes--- and ends up leading the charge into battle for whatever reason.
"out---MATCHED?" a chuckle formed in the threat of the deputy, as she began to form thoughts that revolved around the foolish leader. It was a thought that only those who didn't know their own physical strength better who could suggest such a thing.
"I will show you who's 'outmatched." And with that--- she lunged.

into the muddy ground. She landed with a sharp oopf and slid nearly half a fox length backward, all the while digging deeper into the crust of the planet. Of course the ground was more than just mud; jagged stones jabbed into her flanks. If she wasn't covered in wet mud, she'd be able to tell how much she was bleeding. And if the sheer pain wasn't numbing her body so, she could perhaps feel for a broken bone...or two...or three.
The weight of Squirrelpelt on top of the leader crushed her lungs. Wildstar breathed in and our rapidly, trying to garner up some amount of strength to launch the deputy off her body. With a pump of adrenaline through her veins, she forced herself up, hoping to leave an impact on the deputy as she fell.
