A slight problem.. [Leafpaw/Birchsnap/med cats]

[Ospreysoar]

Osprey was currently unconscious with a twisted back leg, he was being carried in by Leafpaw and Birchsnap. He had stepped to far into the stream and drowned, Birch and Leaf saved him but his lungs were filled with water and his back leg was twisted. He felt nothing because he was unconscious.

[Leafpaw]

Leafpaw entered with Birchsnap holding Ospreyosar struggling to keep him up. A few minutes earlier had left Leafpaw traumatized. Ospreysoar had drowned and on the way Leafpaw sprained her foot while carrying Ospreysoar and she was now limping on three feet. Snakefang, come here we need you!" she shouted.

Ospreysoar lay unconscious on the floor.

Dream;

Ospreysoar was in the forest, on a walk with Birchsnap. They had their tails intertwined, they were a couple.

His leg twitched while he was knocked out.

[Snakefang]

(Just asking, where did you get the twisted leg idea?)

I padded out, taking one look at Ospreysoar's leg and knowing instantly that it would never be the same. An injury like that would never heal. I sighed, looking at the warrior's sleeping figure, sadness creeping over me. I had remembered that the former FireClan medicine cats telling me about an injury like this...who had it? Snakeclaw I think. I sighed and looked up at Leafpaw. "He won't be the same. There is nothing I can do. I can't do anything for his leg, and he is already asleep. Until he wakes up, I can't do anything. This is one injury that can never be healed. I'm sorry."

[Birchsnap]

Birchsnap heard the verdict of Ospreysoar's condition and sighed, sadness creeping into her eyes. She would do everything she could to help him with this injury, and make sure the gray tom could still be the best warrior he could be. Birchsnap looked at Snakefang with her one eye, and sat down beside the sleeping tom. She couldn't look at his leg, for, it was a bit to much for her. The white striped she-cat nudged Leafpaw in reassurance, knowing the younger she-cat wouldn't take it calmly either.

"I'll help in any way I can." Birchsnap told the medicine cat with a sigh, staying strong as she attempted to calm her shaking paws. The small warrior curled her tail around her paws, hoping Ospreysoar would wake up soon.

[Snakefang]

"There is nothing we can do," I reminded Birchsnap. "We can't do anything while he's asleep. When he wakes up, we'll get him some prey, some water, and a poppy seed. And that is all we can do. His leg will be permanently twisted for the rest of his life. I'm sorry. There is nothing we can do to heal him."

[Leafpaw]

Leafpaw wacthed horrified hoping Ospreysoar would wake up soon.

Birchsnap sighed, nodding in understanding. She watched Ospreysoar sleeping and wondered how he would take the pain of not having a normal leg again. She looked at Leafpaw's paw, noticing it was a bit swollen, and realized it was probably sprained.

Leafpaw looked at Ospreysoar horrified. He would never be able to walk properly. She felt pain for him for him. "Oh and Snakefang I think I hurt my paw could you check it out." she said.

[Hey Snake!! It's Sweetfur. xD and I came up with the idea on the spot.. When I got stuck in the water I tried to think of a reasonable injury, and that was what came to mind. I didn't mean to steal anyone else's idea..]

Ospreysoar awoke with a start and hissed in pain, he looked drowsily at the figures standing in front of him. When he was more aware of his surroundings he noticed that it was Birchsnap, Leafpaw and Snakefang. "Snakefang.. What is wrong with mu leg?" he questioned.

(Well, I like the idea! Twisted leg...Ya know, Snakeclaw, my other character, has that same twisted leg too!)

I looked down at Ospreysoar, my heart falling. "Your leg is twisted. Permanently. There is nothing I can do. You're going to limp for the rest of your life. I'm sorry."

Ospreysoar gasped and covered his mouth with his tail, "no..." he meowed with horror. "But.. but.." he meowed with a frown. "I am a warrior.. How am I suppossed to do my duties with a useless leg??" He asked.

[Snakefang]

"Osperysoar, trust me, this is just a minor injury compared to the things that the other medicine cats have told me about. Believe me...Bitten off tails, twisted spines...There's more out there that you don't wanna know," I replied. "Don't worry, Osperysoar. You will just limp for the rest of your life. Fighting will become a small problem, and so will hunting, but that won't matter. You just need to excersise it every day, and then soon you'll be able to hunt and fight with no problem. For now, stay in my den for a few days."
