Fernpelt sighed and inspected the kit. What's up with our den nowadays? It's been so active. I'm not sure if I like it. After giving her a good look,s he decided that it was just a slight cold. The herbs had been slowly restored as the forest grew back, so Fernpelt supposed that it wouldn't be an issue to treat the apprentice. "Hre's some tansy," Fernpelt said curtly, dropping a stem of the herb in front of Blossompaw. "Eat it and continue on your way. If you still feel like you've got a cough tomorrow, then come back for another dose."

Dewkit waddled into the medicine cat den quietly. "Fernpelt?" she asked. "What is that herb you just gave Blossompaw?" Dewkit secretly hoped Fernpelt would teach her more about all herbs. Dewkit had always been interested in herbs.
