[Lilyhaze]

I raise my golden head slowly, blinking open my stormy gray orbs. My pool-like eyes wander slowly across the den, finally stopping on the entrance. I tilted my shaggy head, frowning. I shake my mane out, my tabby body smoothly rising into a standing position. I yawn and stretch, my long legs trembling. My sweeping tail flicks as I trot slowly over to the entrance. I pause, biting my lip, and decide to stay and talk. "Uhh..." I call softly, "Does anyone want to..." I frown, my pretty face distorted cutely. "... to chat?" I trail off, not really sure what else to say.

[Redfern]

Redfern's head suddenly appeared in the entrance, she was searching
for a new apprentice to stalk..........uh talk to. Spotting Lilypaw, her eyes
lit up and a slow grin appeared.
Pushing herself into the apprentice den, she sat down in the entrance,
blocking the only way of escape.

"Why hello there, I don't recall seeing you before....."

[Lilyhaze]

I whip my tabby head towards the newcomer, my long, sweeping tail swishing in surprise. "Uh..." I start, at a loss for words. I stare wide-eyed at the warrior, my innocent mask on full force. I knead the earth nervously, my whiskers flicking. I didn't really want to say, 'Oh, hai dere! I suck at introductions. You don't really need to know my name anyways, right?' I smile, my berry pink nose twitching. "I'm..." I clear my throat my harmonic voice trembling. "I'm Lilypaw. Who are you?"

[Redfern]

Redfern grinned broadly and cocked her head, examining her.
Yess. Not to scrawny, plenty of meat on her. Would go good with
a dressing of catmint.
Shaking her head to clear her mind of such thoughts, Redfern nodded.

"Well, you're an apprentice then.
Tell me, who is your mentor?"

[Lilyhaze]

I nod, my gray eyes serious. I sit down, my fluffy tail curling neatly over my tiny paws. I flick one golden ear, my beautiful fur blowing gently in a soft breeze. "My, uh, mentor?" I ask, jerked out of a reverie. "Oh, my mentor's Foxtwist," I answer, curling my tongue. "I just started my assessment... but she hasn't [replied] assigned me anything yet."

[Redfern]

Redfern tilted her head considering, then nodded
wisely with a smile.
"You're lucky, Foxtwist is a good warrior."

Suddenly she bolted upright and looked at Lilypaw frantically.
"Oh no! I forgot to tell you my name!"

I smile, licking one paw thoughtfully. "Yeah. She's one of my best friends, too." I blink slowly, my shining orbs blinking out like stars. I cock my tabby head to one side. "It's OK," I meow.
