After being out in the cold Blossomfur did not feel so good. She was coughing and her throat was hurting and had all the symptoms of greencough. COUGH COUGH COUGH. She went to the Medicine Den. ''Waspwing, are you in COUGH COUGH there?'' She asked while coughing really hard. ''I don't feel so good.'' She mewed sickly. She felt like she was gonna pass out from coughing so much. ''What should I do?'' Coughed Blossomfur. COUGH COUGH. She felt like she was gonna die.

Waspwing twitched at the sound of Blossomfur's cough. 'Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?' He was practically screaming the word in his head as he circled Blossomfur. He really didn't even want to feed her herbs. He had catmint, yes, but he couldn't afford to waste it even before Leaf-Bare had started. Then again, he'd completely run out of Blossomfur were to spread the cough all around the clan.
He finally stopped circling the white warrior, almost face-to-face with her. Finally he blinked and sighed. "You just....Why?" He asked, as if she was responsible for catching green-cough.
Finally he walked away, pulled some catmint out of his herb storage and dropped a couple of leaves at her paws. "Eat that and stay in this den for a couple of days. I can't have you spreading this all around camp. If you get better within three or so days you can go back to your warrior duties." He growled, turning and walking away.

Blossomfur nodded. ''Okay. I will COUGH COUGH stay here until I have recovered. COUGH COUGH is there any way I can make myself useful? I know I am sick, but I feel useless when I do not do anything. So is there anything I may do COUGH COUGH to help you?'' Asked Blossomfur respectfully to the medicine cat. She knows he might not like her at all, but she respected him alot for helping the clan. ''Thanks.'' She mewed thankfully hoping Waspwing knew what she was thanking him for. She bent her head down to eat the catmint and swallowed the herb. She layed down in the nest waiting for Waspwing's response.

"If you truly wish to help me, then I need you to rest." He muttered, stuffing the remaining catmint back into the herb store. "The more active you are while you're sick, the worst you're going to be. In a bit I'll go get you some fresh food, and you can continue to rest." He meowed.

Blossomfur groaned. ''Okay.'' Mewed Blossomfur while trying to get comfortable in the nest. She just rested there and listened to all the different noises outside of the den. She heard birds singing, kits playing, and mates arguing. While listening she dozed off into a nap. She dreamed of going on patrols, helping the kits, and mentoring a apprentice. Suddenly her dream became a nightmare. Battles were raging and cats were dying. She woke up right away, but she was terrified. ''Whew, it was just a dream.'' She meowed relieved it was all just a nightmare.
