And here he was again. The strong scents of herbs overloaded his nose and made him feel dizzy again. He sighed and carried the kit in by her scruff (Tiger, I will change this if you want), walking quickly. "Medicine cat?" He called, a tone of worry and distress in his voice. He looked back down at the tabby she-kit he only knew as 'Kid' and frowned. She had almost drowned, after all. The tom's own pelt was sopping wet from diving in to save her, but he paid no attention to it. What mattered that she was seen by a healer. THIS TEMPLATE WAS MADE BY ARRO AT CAUTION 2.0

[ S’okay. She’s out cold anyways. ]
As I was carried back to Camp and into the Medicine Den I knew all too well, I woke up and regained my senses. The familiar nauseating scents of various stocks of medicinal plants wafted through my velvet black nose. I twitched subconsciously and my tail flicked to one side, the ringed plume now resting on the black and white tom’s shoulder. My eyes flickered open, and the figures I saw were too hazy to make out.
I could faintly hear Badgerclaw calling for the felines that work here, but what intrigued me was that I heard it as if he was far away, even if he was close by. That got me worried and in result, I whimpered weakly as if to alarm Badgerclaw about this.

The large warrior sighed and carefully placed her down on the ground, then watched her with diligent green eyes. "Be calm." He whispered, gently licking her head, between her ears. THIS TEMPLATE WAS MADE BY ARRO AT CAUTION 2.0

He didn’t get it? Ugh. I let out another small mew, my paw drawing over my right ear repeatedly. Why can’t he understand? I still couldn’t talk, my throat feeling like it was being set ablaze every time I tried to make a sound. Just with a single mew and a few whimpers set it on fire. It hurt like crazy, so I decided to leave it at that. My navy blue eyes were filled with worry and fear of being deaf. I was about to give up, but another side of me persisted on telling the tom what was going on in my mind
“C-Can’t ..” I croaked, my claws unsheathing and scratching at the ground as agony coursed through my body. I wanted to scream out in pain, but all that came out was silence. Great CloudClan this was hard.

[You should come on Xatttt right nowwww]
Badgerclaw furrowed his brow. She tried to speak, and was then struck with pain. He didn't want to speak, if sound was the thing paining her. There was basically no way to communicate. Hopefully it was just water in her ears, causing reflections of sound.
[Idk, really.]

I gave him a pleading look, vigorously shaking my head and getting all the excess water dropped to the ground. But still absolute silence. I didn’t hear the chirping crickets and they always make a racket during this time of hour. I crawled over to him and curled into a ball by his paws, afraid that I wouldn’t be able to hear properly. Now I can’t possibly know is name, I thought with a mental groan, resisting the urge to claw furiously at something.
No. I will definitely not do that, especially with me in such a weak and fragile state.

Badgerclaw frowned quietly and stroked the kitten's back with one of his large paws. .. You poor child..

(...I'm not quite sure I can HEAL drowning...) I pad into my den, smiling slightly. Today was a great day so fa- I stop my thinking when I see the two cats. The first cat I saw was the one I recognized from a few days earlier. He was the one who hurt Skypaw and upset Falconwing. MY Falconwing. I narrow my eyes and unsheath my claws, but stop when I see the small, dripping wet cat in the nest. "What happened?" I ask, trying to keep the hostile tone from my voice.

I was getting a bit frustrated now. I put my paws over my head in a sign of defeat and let out a huff of air, the visible smoke billowing upwards before vanishing into thin air. My deep blue orbs flashed left and right until I caught sight of the Medicine Cat I see almost every time I sneak in here just to watch and see what they were doing. I felt a small spark of happiness in my chest, but it dissipated when I caught sight of the older tom's unsheathed claws.
Normally I wouldn't have been affected by that, but with my little trauma and almost dying, the sight of sharp things made me flinch and scoot even closer to the black and white warrior, my smaller body pressed against his scarred one. I prodded Badger with a brown paw, still not able to speak because of the dryness of my throat.
[ She has hypothermia. And also a sore throat from forcing down river water when she was drowning in a freezing river. ]

Badgerclaw leant down and nudged her gently towards the medicine cat. "She fell into the river." He murmured, lifting his head to speak so that he wouldn't speak too loudly too close to the kit, then dipping it again. Come on, Kid. He thought, nudging her again towards Brightflame, who he avoided eye contact with. He had no idea how or why, but the medicine cat and Falconwing were good friends, and seeing as Falconwing was related to Skypaw.. They weren't in good terms.

I nod, doing my best to stay calm for the apprentice's sake. If it were just Badger and I, I still knew how to fight. And fight I would've. But I had a patient to tend to. I rush into my den and return with the last little bit of honey I had stored there. It was starting to garden, but I hoped it would still help. I nose it towards her, "Here." I murmur before turning back to Badgerclaw. "I need you to keep her as close as you can. She needs to warm up, see if you can also dry her off, I need to get some Thyme." I order before rushing back into the herb store.

I reluctantly lapped up the honey, finding it soothing to my sore throat. After a few more drops of the thick sweet liquid, I listened to what else Brightflame had asked of the two of us, meaning Badger and I, to do. I nodded my head and curled up even closer to the black and white tom, trying to lick my fur dry, but only made so much as to half dry it. My deep blue orbs flickered up to Badgerclaw, a look that asked him if he could help me with this. After all, the Med. Cat did order him to do this.

[nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu]
Badgerclaw nodded quietly and leant down to the kit, using his larger tongue to lick her tabby fur the wrong way on her back, back of neck and head, and in doing so trying to warm her up and dry her off. It was an old queen's techinique, used on children just birthed, but it worked just fine for drying and warming any other cat.

A small smile creased my face, a faint purr rumbling in my throat. The honey really helped and I guess I could speak again if I try to. Why not give it a shot, then? I flicked my gaze from the working Medicine Cat to the older warrior, a thankful light in my shining blue eyes. “Thank you.” I mewed, finding my voice sweeter than ever, the usual silk texture my tone had going back to where it should be. But still I didn't know his name. Why did I not know who my guardian was? How could I not know the name of the tom who had saved me from the second time around? I was stupid, really.
Wasting no more time on pondering over this, I asked, “What's your name? I never really got it before.”
