[ So I haven't seen any threads here about Apprentices getting ticks off of Elders. Hope this is okay for you guys. ]

Silently and carefully did I enter the Elders' Den, not wanting either of them to wake up from their peaceful slumbers just because I was too much of a clumsy cat. Absolutely not. In my jaws I held a stick, at the end a fairly sized wad of moss that dripped with mouse bile. Its stench was unbearable it almost made me gag, but I tried hard not to. My navy eyes flitted about the two forms of the only elders in IceClan.

"Um . . . I hope I'm not bothering you or anything. I just thought of removing ticks or replacing your nests, maybe?" I mewed tentatively, hoping they'd hear me. I sat down patiently, my usual flaring temper actually fading away just this once. I guess I was just too honored to have such two hardworking felines in front of me. They deserve to have this much peace and the utmost care. I even felt a spark of dislike in my chest at the other apprentices for complaining on doing simple things like these. It was the least they could do for all the work these cats have done even before any of us were born.
