RAWR.
Okay, So I was on Deviantart, reading Jenny's (artist of Horse Isle) journal, right? You know, a supposedly "safe" website that is very popular. Well I'm sure you guys have all seen those video ads on websites, right? So there was one playing in Jenny's journal, and it was very annoying, so I clicked on the 'X' to make it shut up. Now I'm not a retard; I know that when you get ads from the web, you don't click on them AT ALL...even if you click the 'X' or 'No', or something like that. But this 'X' appeared to be provided by Devientart, so I clicked it. Then I kept on getting popups saying that my computer was infected. I'd been down that road before! Those popups were not from my computer...it was a Trojan Horse. I was afraid to minimize my window, because I knew what I would see. Yup, I was right. It had changed my lovely "Ugly Robert Pattinson" background to a blue one with text "WARNING! You have a virus on your computer! You and your children, wife, and friends are not safe! Blah, blah, blah...". So I knew right from the "Your children" that Microsoft was not telling me this. How unofficial sounding! So I logged onto my parent's desktop, which was seemingly unharmed and did an Ad-Aware scan. So I deleted what was needed, and rebooted.
Now the audio from that video will not shut up! "So'n'so was wearing a cute 70s inspired headpiece and a boyish button-down blouse. To achieve this hot look, you need two basic components; plaid and..." and it's LOOPING! IT WILL NOT SHUT UP! Even when I change websites, or am not on the internet at all...it won't shut up!
