Onyx padded into the apprentice with a light step to his walk. With a light purr, he held bracken to his chest, and moss from the medicine den in his jaws. Spreading the moss out, Onyx formed the nest and used the bracken to hold it together. Stretching quietly, Onyx promptly sat in his nest and fell asleep.

[Willowfall]

I quitetly walked into my new den. I choose a bed next to Onyxpaw, and gathered some moss from outside. When I had laid out a nest I founds some lavender, near the camp entrance and scattered it in my bed. I smelled like lavender, so anyone walking by the nest would know its mine. I wisked my tail over Onxykit and curled up in my smaller bed.

This was fantastic. Beaverpaw followed in after Onyxpaw. Seeing Willowpaw,"Willowpaw, hey." He smiled, and quietly began to make his own nest, on the other side of Onyxpaw. He made it slow and quietly. Beaverpaw soothed out his fur as his ears perked forward to hearing the rest of the apprentices, Shiverpaw and Foxpaw.

Shiverpaw strided in proudly, head held high as she chose a nest between Onyxpaw and Beaverpaw. "Guys, we're apprentices!" she cheered, blue eyes glimmering as she looked back and forth between her two best friends. She fluffed up her nest and settled into it, lying on her back with her belly up as she looked up at a hole in the den. She could smell the tangled scents of other cats, some were here now, others were in the warriors den these days. In this particular spot, she smelt the faint scent of a she-cat and a tom. She couldn't identify them, but knew the two cats had been together because their scents were mangled together. Sighing dreamily, she wondered if anyone would ever like her.... Shiverpaw wasn't much of a tom boy now, but she still rather hang with toms. Maybe one of these toms would fall for her...

[Foxpaw]

Foxpaw padded up behind Shiver, "I know! Can you believe it?" She meowed excitedly. She licked her friend's ear then started making her new nest, right next to Beaverpaw's. She smiled as she realized they were all together. "I can't wait to start my training with Talonfang!" Fox meowed happily. She finished making her nest and sat down in it.

[Willowfall]

I smiled at Beaverkit and flicked my ear in his direction. When Foxpaw mentioned her mentor I froze and went stiff. Talonfang, I almost barfed at the name, my mentor had a history with him. I used to watch them from the nursery, I watched everything, so I didnt miss what else Talonfang did. But I shook the thought from my head and gave her a small smile.

Onyxpaw's eyes glowed as they opened, settling on his friends. Purring, he stretched and got up to face them. "I can't wait to start my training! What about you guys?" he meowed happily, flexing his tail cheerfully.

Fox got up and asked, "Is anybody hungry?" She had been so happy and excited that she had forgotten to get something to eat. Her belly was growling and her orange ears grew very warm in embarrassment. She hoped they hadn't heard her stomach. She looked at the entrance of the apprentice's den and waited for them to answer her.

"Hey!" Beaverpaw purred, seeing the friends pop in one by one. They were already making nests and talking. "Were here!" He sat beside Onyxpaw, looking to everyone else. "We all seen our mentors at the ceremonies. Awesome! Mines is named Dapplecloud." Beaverpaw knew training would let the brothers be separate now for the time being- it didn't bother him that much.
"Hungry? Yea!" He smiled.

Shiverpaw gazed dangerously over at Willowpaw, not liking the way she froze up at the sound of Talonfang. "What's up?" Shiverpaw asked, blue eyes filled with concern. She also didn't like the way Willowpaw acted towards Beaverpaw. It made her...envious and jealous, which is a feeling Shiverpaw got...well...not very often. And she hated the feeling and hoped it wasnt a feeling that would stick. Purring a little, she asked again, "What's wrong with Talonfang, Willow?"

[Willowfall]

I looked at Shiverpaw, she was the only one who had noticed. My tail swished and I gave her a small smile.
"Nothing. Food sounds good, and some freash river water."
I stood up, streaching my long legs and looking at my body My ribs almost showed, but I wasnt even near starving, just super skinny.

[shiverkit]

Shiverpaw smiled at her and nodded. "Yeah, let's all get a snack," she mewed, flank to flank with Beaverpaw. She had just figured out that Onyxpaw didn't even like her, so it didnt matter (lazy)

[Willowfall]

I looked at the other twin and smiled at him, my tail swayed softly on the ground as I waited for the other kits to come to. I felt bad for Onyxkit, he shouldnt have to fight for a spot next to his brother with Shiverkit. My claws almost slid out at the thought, but I held it back. I didnt like Shiverpaw when she acted like that, and the way she looked at me when I went stiff. Still smiling small and softly I gave a small nod to the clearing outside, indicating that he should come.

Beaverpaw hoped the rest of the kits he met in the nursery would become apprentices soon. he wondered how they were doing now, even though it's been a few hours since he seen them. he didn't tell them they were leaving.
He left after hearing Shiverpaw suggest they get something to eat. Beaverpaw started going towards the apprentice opening,"I'll go get the prey for you guys!" He called over his shoulder as he disappeared. he would be back.

I looked around and leaped along with Beaverpaw.
"your going to need help, carring all that prey."
I talked softly in Beaverpaw's ear as I bent down to grab 2 mice and 1 bird.
