Hollystep layed at the foot of her nest, peering over other nests to outside. Brownhaze said he loved her and they became Mayes just so he would get the others off his back and than ended it with her.

"Hello." She greeted rather casually. She yawned and rose to her paws. The cat seemed...down. She obviously seemed like something had hit her hard. The expression she gave off seemed sadness, perhaps. "Anything up?" She questioned.

"Well Brownhaze... He became my mate and it turned out he only did it to get other she-cats off his back." she mewed. She was a bit angered by this.

"Redstorm's boy? Sure doesn't sound like him. Sure it isn't a misunderstanding? Well I'm unclear of the whole story but that boy is not trouble, not my friend Redstorm's kid. He was probably confused dear, he had no influence, rumors were he didn't know his dad, sad to say my friend Ivycloud lied to her family and all... There's no use staying mad over junk such as this. Move on from it, possibly learn. But I doubt the boy's intentions were to hurt you. The young cat was probably just confused." She shrugged.

"I know he didn't want to hurt me." she agreed. "But I wish he didn't accept me for everyone else to leave him alone. I mean, I AM over it... But I don't know if I could be Brownhazes friend again..."

"Well it's good your over it and all, and I do agree that was a false move on his part, but we all make mistakes." She shrugged. "Take it step by step, hello one day, hello the next, hanging out all of a sudden. Your not being rushed into talking to him right away." She rose to her paws.
"How about a hunt to take your mind off it, or would you like to be left alone to heal?"

She flexes her claws and looked up, eyes full of determination. She needed that. "A hunt sounds nice. I haven't had a good one in a while..." she commented. There was always Brownhaze there...

"Alright, then shall we go?" She inquired as she quickly padded out of the den. She let the mountain cold wind hit her face. Leaf bare was approaching that was for sure. Of course IceClan always had it the toughest. Somehow the scenery reminded her of the rebellion that happened over a year ago.
"Let's go." She began heading towards the mountains at a mild pace.

"Okay, I'm ready." as she followed the senior warrior out of camp she noticed how it was getting colder. "Do you think this will only be the beginning?" she asked.

"Oh I've faced a few leaf bares here, and might I say it has been much worse. This is merely the start of what is to come. The river will freeze and snow will pile up. This is nothing, I am used to much worse. We face worse because of our climate, we are in the mountains. The other Clans don't face such hard times during this season." She explained. She glanced around for prey.

"It's too bad, I won't be enjoying much fish for a while." she muttered. She pricked her ears and heard small pawsteps. She glanced around until she saw a vole under a tree. She dropped into a croutch and slid her paws slowly over. When she was at a good distance, she leaped and landed on the prey. The prey tried to run away, but she heald it down with her paw and gave it the killing bite. She looked to the sky. "Thank you CloudClan." she whispered.

Flurr's ears twitched. "Gotcha in sight." She stalked a small bird. It was probably searching around for food. She grinned and pounced on it. She silently killed it. "Fish, well IceClan eats more then fish which will make it not so hard to thrive. Leaf bare's always a pain, no matter how you look at it. Fish or no fish far worse things befall the Clan during the snowy season." She scoffed. The thought of winter peeved her right off.
"Winter after winter..." She muttered.

"Nice catch." she mewed. She walked over and nudged her. "I like you!" she purred. It was nice to meet a she-cat not mooning over toms.
