Silverblaze sat in the warriors den, feeling sick. Not sick like medicine cat sick, but tired of all of the love talk in the warriors den.
"Yuck, what is it with all of this love stuff? Why can't we enjoy ourselves and hunt in the mountains? Why don't we just get on with our lives?" she mumbled to herself.
She thought of all of the pairs of mates that she knew. Her brother, Shatteredblaze, and Brokenpaw, Thunderpaw and Shadepaw, her mother and her father, Horserwhisker and every other she-cat in the Clan, her apprentice, Thornpaw, and Dawnpaw.... the list went on forevor.
I just want a friend to go hunting with.

Oakpaw stumbled into the Warrior's Den, his amber eyes were clouded up. He was in his Crazy, Insane World again. It started ever since he fell out of that very large tree..... He fell into a random nest and rolled over and over. He then slowly stood up and started whimpering for no reason. Yep, he really was insane. He realized there was another cat in the den. "WAIT! WHY IS THERE A WARRIOR IN THE APPRENTICE'S DEN!!!!! " He thought out loud, probably a lot louder than he should've. |

Littlepaw raced into the warriors den when she heard what Oakpaw was saying."Shhh....Oakpaw you are in the warriors den," she meowed sweetly to him. All of this caring for Oakpaw was dragging her down. She never slept worrying about Oakpaw and dreaming about Lionpaw. Oh wa she confused.

Oakpaw blinked and swiveled his head to look at Littlepaw. Then started breathing very fast. He whipped his head from side to side. He started to get very dizzy. Stop it! Get a hold of yourself squirrel-brain!! A very stern voice from inside his head told him. He whipped his head faster to get rid of the voice.

Even though Silverblaze could be snappy when told what to do, she obeyed her apprentice, as odd as it seemed.

Oakpaw obeyed Little, one of the only cats he trusted. He sat down, completely still. His wild amber eyes stared at Silverblaze, not leaving her. He seemed to be deciding whether she was an enemy or not.

Silverblaze seemed unconfortable with the young apprentice's gaze seeping into her pelt. "Umm" she whispered to herself.
