She cocked her head. "Flame ... I don't think being secret mates is a wise idea. I would agree, but ... Cats would begin to be suspicious ... And, Snowstorm will be sure to kill me." She stopped, looking away. "I haven't seen Emberstorm in ages. How about, if I don't see him in two days, I will be your mate. If not, then I will stay with him. Sound okay?" She rested her head on his shoulder.

"I just don't want to hurt you or anyone else. I accept your offer. Yes."

flamewhisper smiled, but didn't grin. why would he? he now had the huge task of keeping a secret.
" if snowstorm lays one hair on you, i will rip her head off "

"Don't worry. She can feel two cats' wraths." she meowed, smiling as well. Tanglepelt half hoped Emberstorm wouldn't appear so she could be with Flamewhisper like she wanted too. But, she also felt bad for the tom. Who was more important? Flamewhisper, in her eyes and heart and head. Flamewhisper.

"Good, I'm glad to have you by my side."
He purred, twining their tails together.
He oh so hoped Emberstorm didn't return, that he would stay in the loner territory.
"You know Ember left you to make a new clan, right?"
He mewed, hoping to turn her against the brown tom.

"Yes, I know. I was at all of his meetings. He said that he would take me with him, but he didn't. I'm not that happy about it,but that means I can spend some time with you." she purred. She suddenly didn't want to wait a few days. She wanted to be Flamewhisper's mate now. "If I can, I admit I want him to not come back." she whispered. "At least not in two days." she meowed.

flamewhisper smiled innocently, trying to pull her away from that monster.
" he left you, so why don't you leave him?"
he mewed, suddenly glancing into her big, glossy green eyes that reflected himself like a mirror.

Tanglepelt shrugged. "I guess I didn't want to hurt him like those past she-cats." she meowed. "But, I can't be his mate and not love him at the same time." The ginger tabby smiled. "I am making it official. I am a single she-cat, waiting for that special guy .." She giggled, rubbing her head against his shoulder.

he mewed in a deep, sexy voice.

Tanglepelt raised an " eyebrow ", smirking. "I am looking for a handsome tom with a pelt like mine and green eyes that are as striking as mine. Oh look, we have a cat like that right here." she meowed, batting a paw at him.

flamewhisper grinned.
" well then, i guess your my new mate."
he mewed, licking her ear.

"I suppose so." she purred, nuzzling his shoulder. "So, when are we telling Snowstorm?" Tanglepelt asked. "She is bound to get revenge on me. Maybe even on you. And, I do not want anyone to hurt you." she meowed, giving a small whimper at the thought.

he sighed, blowing a puff of fur out of his face.

She laughed, nodding. "Sounds good." she meowed. She curled her tail around his. "So, what do you want to do?" Tanglepelt asked.

The male shrugged.
" Well, I'm really tired so I don't want to go hunting, anything in the camp. "
He mewed, flicking his ginger striped tail.
