Oakfall padded out of the Warrior's den, his was much better and wanted to talk to Little. "Little!!" He called, "Littleleaf!!? " He sat down and wrapped his tail around his paws. "LITTTTTLLLLEEE?" He called again. He looked at his paws as he waited for her, his claws sheathing and unsheathing.

Littleleaf woke up to hear Oakfall again. She gasped a little."Oakfall calm down...." she trailed off as she saw that he was calm. Is he better?"Oakfall?' she meowed a little questioningly walking slowly up to him.

"Hey Little." He purred as she walked up to him. He stood up, "I wanted to thank you for sticking by my side when I went through that whole.... Crazy thing." He told her with a smile on his face. "And.... I wanted to tell you something but...." He glanced at his paws. "But I haven't seen you in awhile and...." He trailed off again.

Littleleaf calmed down more."Your welcome," she meowed quietly. She knew what he wanted to ask. She could feel it burning into her. Great first Thistlepaw and now Oakfall. I have to tell him sooner or later."Ask me what?" she asked just for the sake of it pretending that she had no idea what he would ask.

"You're going to say no...." He turned around, "You're mates with Lionclaw." He turned back around to look her in the eyes. "But it doesn't matter, because I just wanted you to know that I love you anyway." He turned to leave, even though she hadn't said anything about her and Lionclaw yet. He felt like his heart would break in two.

Littleleaf bowed her head."I'm sorry," she meowed quietly. When he turned to leave she padded in front of him to stop him. She looked at him in the eyes and had an apologetic look in her eyes."I'm so sorry," she meowed quietly.

"Sorry?" He shook his head. "No. I think I now why... I think one of the reasons is because I fell out of that tree...." He paused, "You don't think I'm the same!" He turned away from her pretty eyes. "You'd rather choose Lionclaw over me, even though Lionclaw has changed so much more than I have."

"Well it was so hard trying to take care of you, finish my training, and deal with friend problems and it wasn't just Lionclaw either. It was Owlspirit and Thistlepaw as well. It was a lot of pressure and I needed someone and no one was there. Then Lionclaw and I had a long talk and we forgave each other, and now....now....NOW...we're mates," she meowed hestitating before she said that her and Lionclaw were mates.

"I didn't ask you to take care of me!!" Oakfall hissed. "You could've left me alone! Secret could've helped me!" He lashed his tail and calmed himself down. He got quieter, "I-I thought we were going to be mates... You seemed to like me a lot b-before I fell and....." He trailed off, his eyes flashing. "You don't like me because you think I'm still crazy!" He started backing away from her, his amber eyes full of anger and a lot of hurt, but also something else...

"Yeah and where is Secretpaw right now, huh. Where is she? She wasn't there she didn't even try," she hissed loudly flattening her ears and slashing her tail from side to side.
"I don't know if I believe you sane anymore. You would act all normal one minute and the next you would be clouded eyes and not know who anyone is anymore and you didn't know where anyone was. It scared me. You scared me into thinking that you would never return," she meowed sitting down and bowing her head. He had scared her beyond belief and she didn't or couldn't trust him.

Oakfall felt tears come to his eyes, he slowly padded up beside Little, he wasn't mad about the things she had said about Secret. "I am back, forever. Whether you believe it or not." He whispered softly. "The craziness will never come back. I promise." He told her. "I fought it off..." He continued, not caring if she was listening or not. "Every time it came, I fought it back as best I could.... For you." He looked away now, he couldn't look into her pretty eyes.

Littleleaf sighed, she did believe him but it was still scary for her. She decided to change the subject to something happier."I've been seeing you with Cinderstorm. She's a very nice she-cat. I cab tell you like her," she purred softly. She wanted to still be his best friend but nothing more then that...

Oakfall's eyes flashed and some unwanted tears escaped. He backed away slowly. Then he turned abruptly and raced out of the den, trying to put as much distance between him and Littleleaf. "I wish I had died that day I fell out of that tree!!!" He yelled. He was now standing in the middle of the Camp, looking up at the sky. Even though he was upset, a small smile spread across his face, he shook his head and let out a small laugh.
(He's not crazy. You'll get it soon.^)

Littleleaf ran after him. Good thing I'm a good sprinter, she thought. She caught up with him."Why do you wish that," she meowed stopping and taking in deep breaths for air. She didn't understand. He seemed to be happy with Cinderstorm."Why can't we just be best friends?" she asked sitting down behind him.

He turned and glared at her, "Because I'm not sure how I feel about you!" He told her. He turned his back on her and whispered, "I was just a.... big joke to you and Lionclaw. I was just someone that you two could play around with." He stared hard at his paws. "You wouldn't of cared if I had died, you would've just ran to Lionclaw and you two would've still become mates." He ran away from her, his paws pounding on the hard earth, he raced as fast as he could in the direction of the big tree he had fallen out of.
