Tawnykit padded into the den, muttering nonsense under her breath. Over night she had gotten a serious case of the sniffles, and her chest felt kind of weird. She had decided to visit Clovepetal and Forestbreak, just in case it was serious.
"Forestbreak, Clovepetal, you here?" She asked, sniffling yet again. Hopefully she wasn't sick, she couldn't afford to lose any play time.
(She just has a minor cold, nothing serious)

"I'm here," muttered Forestbreak, nodding in acknowledgement. "What's the problem? Sick?" she questioned, hearing the kit sniff. Oh, dear. First sickness of leaf-bare. Shaking her head, she grabbed some tansy from her herb store.
"If you are sick, don't be alarmed. Lots of kits your age get a little bit under the weather at this time of year. It's nothing to worry about, most likely. Probably just a minor inconvenience. What are your symptoms?" asked Forestbreak, setting the tansy to the side.

She simply nodded and pretended to know what Forestbreak was saying. She smiled as the Medicine Cat reassured that it was probably nothing serious, it made her feel so much better. What was it like to be a Medicine Cat, anyway? Probably not as fun as hunting or fighting, but there had to be some sort of reward out of it, since cats still volunteered to do it.
She shook her head to escape back into reality, and just in time, too. "Oh, my nose feels kind of stuffy and my chest feels kind of weird, like something is stuck in it. Is that bad?" She was worrying herself a bit more again. Hopefully Forestbreak would have good news.

"Nah, just sounds like a head cold." Forestbreak tore off a tiny bit of the tansy leaf and nudged it to the kit with her nose. "Eat this. It'll help your chest feel better. As for your sinuses, those will clear up in a few days; I promise you. I don't have any herbs to cure a stuffy nose." She smiled ruefully.
"Anyway, just make sure you drink plenty of water and rest so that you'll get better quickly. And don't go rubbing up against your kit friends- you don't want them to catch anything." She chuckled playfully.
