Hawkfeather was sitting in the warriors' den, feeling ... bored. He was apparently always bored. And now he didn't even have an apprentice to train because both of them had disappeared. Maybe it was because he didn't train fast enough. At least, that was what it seemed like for Scarletpaw. Her training had been pretty slow. And then, right before battle training, she had disappeared. The light brown tom gave a sigh and laid down in his nest next to Greenswallow's. He hadn't seen his mate in a while either.

The brown tom looked up from his nest and furrowed his invisible eyebrows together when he saw that it was Lightningstrike. Scarletpaw had seemed to be troubled about him before disappearing. Hawkfeather couldn't help but feel that her disappearance was the black and white tom's fault. But he wasn't going to show so. "Hello Lightningstrike."

Brightrain opened her eyes and saw her mate, Lightningstrike, and he was talking to someone! Brightrain was so excited that Lightning was makin some friends! She walked over, "Hello Lightningstrike..." She purred, rubbing against him. "See, some cats like you." She whispered to him.

Hawkfeather nodded to Lightningstrike. "Fine, I guess. You?" He kept his sentences short, not trusting his tongue any further. He glanced in surprise at the other tom when suddenly a she-cat that he had never met before came up and rubbed against him. The last time he'd checked, Silverblaze had been his mate. Had he really left another she-cat? "Er ... May I ask who you are?" He directed the question to the gray tabby, of course.

Brightrain smiled at the other tom, "Yes, I am Brightrain." She purred. "Nice to meet ya. So, whats your name?" She asked him.

Uh ... Okay then. "My name's Hawkfeather." The brown tom forced a smile on his face and faced Brightrain. This was ... a bit unexpected for him.

What was he doing alone? "Why do you ask? Am I supposed to be with someone?" The fake smile was gone and instead Hawkfeather was staring at Lightningstrike, trying hard not to glare. Did he think that Hawkfeather was supposed to be with his mate, like he was himself?

Hawkfeather's eyes left the tom. "I have no friends", he muttered softly, so that Lightningstrike couldn't hear. Nor his new mate. It was sadly true. Really, he didn't actually know anybody in the clan except for his mate, the two cats in front of him, and two other she-cats. A handful of cats.

Silverblaze walked into the warriors' den. She saw a tom she hadn't met. "Hello. I'm Sil-" She was cut off as she saw Lightningstrik- and his new mate. "Hi." she growled. Her expression darkenned as she sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws. "So, tell about, you know. You two." She hoped Lightningstrike wouldn't think she was jealous. Silverblaze just hated Lightningstrike.
If she were honest, she had fallen in love with a tom and he really liked her back , but he took her own advice to the heart and forgot her. She didn't want to loose Lightningstrike so she was clingy. If he would have just told her, she would have let him have his space. She was fine with him loving Brightrain, but it was the fact that Lightningstrike never told her about it. In fact, he never told her about anything. SHe just wanted him happy.
But now, she couldn't care less.

Littleleaf hadn't really been around lately and she knew it. She padded into the warriors den and stretched er back. She spotted her former mentor Silverblaze and Lightningstrike with Brightrain and another tom she didn't know. The little warrior padded up to them. Hello, she meowed with a smile and then it faded as she saw Silverblaze's exsperision. She shut her mouth and perked her ears. She diffinetly missed something while she was gone.
