Silverblaze waited for Brightrain in the warriors' den. She was the new mate to Lightningstrike. Silver liked Brightrain for all she knew about the she-cat, and would never do anything to make her relationship with Lightningstrike complicated.
Silverblaze had heard that the younger warrior needed to talk to her.

Brightrain opened her eyes warily, she looked around to see if anyonewas there. She turned her head and saw a familiar figure. Brightrains eyes widened with fear, she tried to pretend she was asleep but Silverblaze was already walking towards her. "Uh...hello Silverblaze...what is it?" She asked shakily.

"Sorry to startle you," Silverblaze meowed warmly. She had a strong voice and it normally soothed other cats, but Silverblaze wasn't sure if it would work. "I just wanted to talk to you about-you know-."

"You always have to be careful," Silverblaze said. "He never tells you about his feelings." Her eyes and expression hardened at those words. They were true and she didn't want Brightrain to suffer the pain of being rejected, but that was how she lost Lightningstrike.
