I walked quietly into the warriror den, looking for the pelt of a friend. Emberstorm, a cat I had not seen in to long. It took only a moment to find the pelt. Clamping the fish tighter in my jaws I lept to the cat swishing my tail and laying next to him. I used my tail to cover his eyes. "Guess who?" My voice was playfull and exicted as I layed the fish down.

"Foxpaw. What are you doing in the Warriors den?" He was not aware his friend was a Warrior. He spent so much time in the territory he lost track of events and such in Iceclan. He moved his head to one side to avoid her tail and noticed she looked.. older. "Let me guess your a Warrior now? i need to be in camp more often.''

I swished my tail back over my paws, grinning. "Foxfire now, the name no one else can have. Lets catch up." I Nudged the fish toward him then took a bite. My grin was warm and familiar, I tried my best to bring comfort, and at times like this I did it well.

He said the name several times quietly to himself. "I like it. It had a ring to it. Still congratulations.'' he purred. He took a bite and swallowed. "So how has Warriorhood been treating you?"

I shrugged, taking another bite. "Nothing different. Hows your drama?" My voice was gentle, and soft, and I eyed him with a mix of worry and concern.

He took a bite and thought for a second. "Ehh I am just training cats but that is about it.'' He shrugged and looked at her to indicate he was done talking.

I grinned and leaned into his shoulder playfully. "Oh those poor she-cats Ember, imagine their pain right now..." I tusked and swished my tail, voice teasing as I pulled away and took another bite.

He chuckled at the joke and said "You know. They are doing fine. I have sadly never trained a male apprentice.'' He raised his 'eyebrows' as he took another bite. There was barely any left. "You have the rest.'' he said kindly.

I purred and tapped my nose lightly to Emberstorms, then ate the rest of the fish with a giant bite. After a large gulp I smiled at him. "You. Are the best cat in the world." My voice was a deep purr and I had rolled onto my back to lick my paw.

He smiled and said "How is life treating you. i am hoping to retire with in the next six moons.'' He stared around the den. It was so large and overcrowded plus if he stayed in Iceclan Redstorm could use some company in his den. It must be lonely being one out of two Elder. What was the others ones name? Wildwind or something?

I closed my eyes, face blank. "Leoparddripple." My voice had become gentle and soft as I spoke, as if I had been thinking about it for some time and had just now decieded to bring it up. Honestly, I knew a cat in Fireclan, she was nice and one of the many reasons I didnt mind our so called "rival clan" and I had heard things. Now I wanted to talk about it, its my job, to learn ones secrates and hold onto them. To help with the burden they hold on their shoulders, and keep it between just us.

What? HOW OD YOU KNOW OF HER? he snarled. He could not let that name hit his ears again. no he betrayed Leo. He betrayed Fireclan. It made him feel horrible inside whenever he heard the name. Fireclan and Iceclan had tight relations for rival clans however. So maybe the two met on border patrols.
