Foxpawpadded into the Apprentice's Den, which still needed a little work from the attack. She had learned that Onyx had changed his name to Tallshadow and that she didn't know anything about him. Beaver, she didn't know where he was. Shiver was gone and Willow? She didn't know what happened to her.
The only cat who was really left that Fox knew was Red. I'm so glad he didn't leave! She thought. "Red!?" She called, she had changed a lot. Her fur had grown more, so she was now a full Maine Coon. Her eyes were more of an amber color and she was stronger and a lot bigger.

His ears twitched at the sound of his name being called. Red!? His own amber eyes looked up from his nest, glancing around the den for the source of the voice. It wasn't that hard, really. The apprentices' den seemed virtually empty, and Foxpaw stood out quite a bit with her long ginger-and-white fur.
At first, Redpaw thought he saw a stranger. She did bear a certain resemblance to his friend, Foxpaw, but she was just so ... different. The russet-colored tom stared at the Maine Coon for a while before finally reacting. Foxpaw? He got up from his nest, eyes shining in almost disbelief.
He had thought that she was gone, disappeared, like Willow and Shiver and all the others. But here she was, right in front of him. Sure, the long fur and somewhat deeper amber eyes were strange to him, but it was certainly Foxpaw. The one that he'd known since basically the day he could speak.
Redpaw walked towards her, approaching slowly at first, as if afraid she was a hallucination, then with increasing speed. He reached her, and sat down in front of her. Foxpaw ... it's so good to see you again. He took a quick glance around the den, and out into the RockClan camp. Actually, scratch that. It's so good to see anyone. He let out a faint purr of amusement, referring to the fact that his clan was as good as dead. Which had just made the raid by DeathClan all the worse.
But anyways. That was over. Right now, he was going to properly greet his friend. His bright eyes showing actual interest in something for the first time in moons, Redpaw smiled at his fellow apprentice, and awaited her reply. [that was somewhat long ... i'm sorry you had to read through that.]

(It's fine, I've read through worse.)
Foxpaw blinked and shuffled her white paws when he didn't say or do anything. 'Foxpaw?' He finally said, she nodded her head and smiled at him. "It's good to see you too Redpaw!" She meowed. She nodded in understanding when he said it was good to see anyone. "When I got here cats were talking about the DeathClan raid...." She trailed off, she didn't want to ruin this happy moment by talking about DeathClan.
"So, who's your mentor? I'm sorry I missed your Ceremony." She told him, a frown on her face.

He matched Foxpaw's frown. He dismissed the statement on DeathClan, and instead chose to focus on the ceremony part. It's fine that you missed it. There wasn't much to see anyways. My own mentor wasn't there, and I haven't met him yet, not even now.
I've requested for a new mentor, but I still haven't gotten one yet. Redpaw shrugged indifferently, used to the fact that he was probably never going to be trained. The thought was enlightened by the fact that now, at least Foxpaw was here, and he could have someone to talk to if he wasn't training. That is, if she wasn't training, herself.
Redpaw stifled a yawn, then glanced once outside. RockClan seemed so barren, and not just because it was made of rocks. There seemed to be hardly anyone around. Sure, the always active Sandleaf was usually around, and there were the occasional kits, but he could see almost none of neither apprentices nor warriors.
