I don't feel good..(Medicine Cats Only)

[Lightningpaw]

Lightningkit stumbled into the medicine cat den. She had been feeling terrible the last few days. Her stomach was upset and she had been coughing the last few days. Lightning started to walk further into the herb filled den. She moaned and whimpered as she rested herself into a comfortable position. Her eyes closed and she tried to forget the pain. Lightningkit slowly started to wait for someone to help her. She whimpered and wondered if anyone would help her. After all, medicine cats always had lots to do. Her breath started to get thinner and thinner until she couldn't even here it. Lightning opened her small eyes and everything was a big blur. "Snakefang, Sunblaze, someone please.", she whimpered.

[Snakefang]

I shook my pelt, coming out from the back of the den. "Lightningkit!" I said with mock surprise. "For a second, I thought a rabbit had gotten into my den!" I purred. Then I took a sniff. I knew that kits wouldn't be in here for a really good reason...or unless they chased a moth in here. A sick scent washed over my scent glands. "Ah. I see. Do you have a fever? When did this sickness start?"

[Lightningpaw]

Lightningkit laughed at Snakefang's joke. "I don't know if I have a fever or not." , she whispered. "It started two sunrises ago.", she mewled.

[Snakefang]

I leaned down and sniffed the apprentice's head. "Well, Lightningpaw, there is no fever. That's a good thing. You probably had a bad piece of prey or something. No biggie. Let's get you some chervil." I walked back and found the herb in my supplies. I grabbed some small roots and carried them over to Lightningpaw. "Chew these, then spit them out. Swallow the juice only. That will make the bellyache go away. The coughing...Here." I dragged over some honey. "This will soothe your throat."

[Lightningpaw]

"Thank you.", Lightningpaw mewed as she chewed the chervil, making sure not the swallow the entire herb. Quickly she drank the sweet honey.

[Snakefang]

"Good, Lightningpaw. You'll be better in no time! How's the training going?" I meowed, smiling at the young apprentice. It warmed my heart to see kits becoming apprentices, and apprentices becoming warriors. The look of joy on their faces always made me feel exactly the same way.

"It's great.", she mewed to Snakefang.
