the gray apprentice, held underneath her chin a bundle of moss and bracken. she set it down in front of the Elder's den and poked her head inside.
I came here to change your nests!
she called softly. she grabbed the bundle and pushed through walking over to a nest and started cleaning it.

(Oops a little late. Didn't see this eue)
Redstorm had been sprawled out in the warmest part of the den, and was close to falling asleep when the apprentice called out. He tried not to hiss at her in annoyance, and lazily rolled back to his stomach, tucking his paws under his brown colored chest.
"Yes, yes, thank you." He muttered groggily, flickering his ears in a sign of impatience.

she could hear the annoyance laced in his tone, but she brushed it off and padded over to him. she picked out the brittle bits and placed in new soft moss. she patted it down and added in the bracken. she worked fast and quick, she stopped and sat back looking at her work. she nodded, satisfied and looked at Redstorm.
Do you need anything else while I am here? Like prey?

Redstorm padded over to her work, and plopped right down into it. Cozy, no sharp thorns jabbing into him. Perfect.
"No, no, this will be fine. Thank you..Er..Apprentice." He mewed quietly, resting his head on the soft new bedding.

(It DID say open.) Brightflame chuckles and pads in, swatting Red affectionately with a paw, "Don't be such a grouch, Redstorm! Jeez, with your attitude it's a wonder that people don't think you're MY father. At least tell this apprentice a story! After all, it's rare anymore that they bring new bedding." He says, flicking Redstorm with his tail and smiling warmly at the apprentice before returning his gaze to Red, "You could at LEAST bother to ask their name!" He scolds. (Yeap. That just happened.)

she whipped her head around to see the medicine cat, Brightflame. she watched him rant on to Redstorm, about how he should tell her a story. she smiled and stood up.
I'm Flightpaw.
she said, cheekiness embedded deep in her voice. a slight smirk was on her muzzle as she gazed at the elder. she smiled warmly and sat back down, unsure of what to do.

Brightflame swats him playfully with a paw, "Get up, tell Flightpaw here a story. You have plenty of time to sleep when you're dead."

(ohgodlol)
Redstorm watched his father enter the den in annoyance. Most of his self control went into not biting his tail tip off. For a moment he was silent, and before he could speak Bright was pawing at him again, joking about sleep and death.
"IsweartoCloudclanIwillmurderyouoneday" He muttered under his breath, sarcastically of course. Of course. That wasn't serious. Nope. Not at all. No death threats here. Nope.
"Well, Flightpaw, what do you want to hear about?" He asked curtly, glancing over to the little she-cat.

she laughed softly at his cursing and smiled as he turned his gaze to her.
You needn't tell me a story, Redstorm. I should be going anyways.
she smiled warmly at them. she gave a nod, before turning around and started to leave.

I chuckle and lean down, "Just remember I'm both your father AND your Medicine Cat, therefore you'll be seeing ME every time you need healing. Just remember that, kay?" He says, grinning evilly. "And you, Flightpaw, Redstorm here would like to thank you SO much for bringing him new bedding. It's something he complains about a lot actually, RIGHT Redstorm?"

she turned around and smiled at the medicine cat. she nodded warmly toward Redstorm with a cheeky smile.
Well, you are most certainly welcome!
she purred and slipped through the den entrance. she smiled and headed to eat.
