The new guy. The one thing he wanted to be the most yet, the least. It meant he was the fresh meat here, making him a target. The shy apprentice popped into the den with some moss he picked up. He made a neat den and sat in it to check for anything sharp or uncomfortable in it. He only felt a thorn which he precisely pulled out with his teeth.
Sitting down in it he noticed everyone else was coming back from training. He might as well try to break his antisocial habits by conversing with him. He quickly groomed his fur and noticed how quiet it was in here compared to the Nursery. However, he was happy about this. Hiding in the shadows and just waiting silently for another cat to walk in here.

Sleetpaw had just come back from training with Ottershine, a clump of moss in her jaws. The she-cat placed the plant gently at the entrance of the apprentice's den so she could take it to the Elder's after a short nap. Her ear flicked with confusion as she spotted another apprentice in the shadows. He didn't look tired, that most likely meant he hadn't started training yet. After all, he did look fairley new. Sleetpaw approached him cautiously, scared he might be one of those touchy apprentices. "Hello there, I'm Sleetpaw." She started with a simple greeting, too nervous to say anything else.

(LOL SLEET USED TO BE HIS NAME)
He wasn't so touchy, he was more cautious. His ma'am I am Screechpaw. He blinked his amber eyes and was curious. He wanted to get to know this one. Maybe he could be good friends with her, his first friend ever. It seemed he could step out of the shadows and not get beaten to death. He did this. Stepping out the light flooded over his light brown and darker brown striped fur.

[Lolwhat? Seriously? xDDDD] Sleetpaw let out a long breath, thankful this apprentice hadn't lashed out at her. "Well it's nice to meet you Screechpaw~!" She meowed happily, blinking once as he stepped out of the shadows. "So who's your mentor?" Sleetpaw asked as she shifted into a laying down position. "Mine's Ottershine."

Antfur. I am glad to get out of the Nursery. It is rather dull in there. he smiled and added Nice to meet you too. He had this slight country drone about him when he spoke. It added some excitement to him. He poked his own nest with an outstretched paw once more.

Antfur. The name sounded familiar, but Sleetpaw couldn't place where she had heard it from. Oh well. "I am glad to get out of the Nursery. It is rather dull in there." Sleetpaw nodded in agreement, although she herself had rather enjoyed the nursery. "Yeah. It's much more fun to learn to fight, hunt, swim, and fish, than sit around and play mossball all day." She remarked simply, tilting her head slightly to see what he would do next.
