Blazepaw shivered into the medicine den as the scent of herbs rushed into her nose. It sickened her more becuase she HATED herbs. But blazepaw was hopeless, she needed to heal now. She waited for one of the medicine cats to emerge to help her.

Forestbreak glanced at the apprentice, then padded toward her. She looked slightly under the weather, but she couldn't jump to conclusions quite yet. Grabbing some basic herbs in her jaws, she set them down next to her and sat down herself, twitching her ringed tail.
"So, what seems to be the problem?"she inquired, her yellow gaze fied on the apprentice

"Well that's simple enough!" Clovepetal told the apprentice with a friendly smile. She rushed over to the herb storage and gathered a few different herbs.
"How about symptoms? Fever, sore throat, et cetera?"

"she gave a small shiver. "well i'm sneezing. And no cough's thank cloudclan and im c-cold" she mewed in gritted teeth.

(Oh yay, I can get on for a few minutes. Sorry, my computer's broken and I can only get on my dad's laptop a little bit this week until the new computer comes in. D:)
"Doesn't sound like greencough, then," interjected Forestbreak, glancing at Clovepetal and nodding. "Just a cold, I'm fairly sure. Here, we can get you some feverfew and you'll be good as new. You'll probably still be stuffy for a few days, but this will help you bring down your fever." She brought the herb from its storage and set it down in front of Blazepaw.
"Here. Chew this up and swallow it. I can get you some honey with it, if you'd like, since it's pretty nasty-tasting." She picked up a small honeycomb and put it next to the herb.

"ewww..." she made an ugly face at the herbs. SHe hated herbs and never understood how medicine cats enjoyed their work. "fine.." she sighed. Slowly, blazepaw started to chew on the feverfew while having a disgusted face on her. "ewww!!" she complained.

Forestbreak rolled her eyes, amused. "I didn't put the honey out for nothing. Just lap a little off of the honeycomb and it'll wash away the bad taste in no time. Anyway, I'm sure you'd rather eat a few herbs than get even sicker than you already are, huh?" As Blazepaw continued complaining, she simply smiled brightly at the apprentice.
"You should probably stay away from the other apprentices for a little while. You don't want them to catch your cold. Also, make sure you rest and drink plenty of water."

"yea i guess.." she sighed at the thought of eating more herbs. "but i'll have that honey though" she mewed proudly. she started to swallow hardly on the herbs and gulped a bit of honey down her throat that soothed her nasty taste. SHe herd the medicine cat say to stay away from the apprentices. "WHAT!  YOU MEAN I CAN BE WITH MY FRIENDS??? *cough cough*" she hacked |

"Tastes nice, doesn't it? Nothing like some honey to make the medicine go down, hm?" She chuckled lightly, picking up the honeycomb in her jaws and putting it back in its place.
"Only for today. By tomorrow, you probably won't be contagious anymore," she replied. "I'm sure you can wait till then. And you can still talk to them, just don't get too close," she advised. "Like I said, I don't want any more sick cats."

blazepaw seemed to calm after the medicine cat said the good advice. "okay i will make sure to sleep a nest AWAY from the apprentices tonight." she promised.

"Good for you," mewed Forestbreak. "You can go back to playing with your friends tomorrow. Just get a night of rest and you'll be fine." Retreating to her nest, the medicine cat glanced back at the apprentice. "Goodbye."
