growing was fine, but all these losses are making me agitated. i cannot simply just become a great warrior as it seems, being on the outside of all the cluster, love, drama, and whatever else apparently is good to the insiders. but my life, is but a mere dot in a bunch of scribbles and lines. i'm not asking for it, i'm just asking cloudclan, for something good to happen. but i guess having my best friend return is amazing enough, but no, you cannot simply just make him an apprentice and let him join me. no. i must be singled out and left like this. yet, i assume, there is a reason. maybe i have a destiny to live the cold sad life of a medicine cat.
the words seeped in her mind of her own taunt. she sat there like many times before, gazing out of the den entrance. yet she shouldn't even dare, she had been complaining forever to cloudclan to allow her to become an apprentice. she only had it coming. that rage she possessed at the ceremony still clung to the ends of her long fur, dangling with taunt. her big golden eyes drifted to the nests and the bodies laying and moving, and breathing, and whatever a cat does. staring was more of heathers thing.

The apprentices were flying by these days. Zooming through their training, and although they crashed here and there, they landed swiftly into the status of a warrior. Every apprentice except Blazepaw. For some reason his was passing slower than he'd like. It seemed like Featherfall was just named an apprentice, now he was an adult. Where was Blazepaw? Sharing the apprentices' den with a bunch of mere teenagers who thought they were grown up.
At least some of them are alright. Some of the apprentices were mature. Some of them want to bash his brains in and throw in into a dark stream. Others were.. 'special'. Preferably, Blazepaw would like to be friends with the cats that wouldn't snap at him and be a downer about everything after he barely told them his name.
As he padded to the average-sized den, Blazepaw saw through the entrance what seemed to be one of the newer apprentices in the den. She looked lonesome, as if while she gained a new ranking, something else was left behind. Blazepaw's only friend as a kit was Bel, but CloudClan knows where he could be now. He made two friends; one of them is gone, and the other.. she was just a friend, nothing more. Maybe less.
"You look down." he said compellingly as he walked into the den, taking a seat next to the young she-cat. "Any way I can help? Or are you one of those cats who immediately reject a potential friend followed by a couple insults?" he joked a little with a purr.

the sight of friendly leaf green eyes gave her the opening of something new, but she turned away quickly, her golden eyes straight. she wasn't denying him, quite yet. but that certainly was something she succeed in, cats flowing in and out of her life was a regularity, and having a father like hers was nearly the worst for her underdeveloped mind, when she was so young. he pretended he cared, then left. Crowspirit, the tom who charmed the clan, then left, children still placed with a meaningless, seemingly, existence.
Heatherpaw knew she was better then to blame her lonely feelings on her father, yet she couldn't come to face that she couldn't hate him forever.
She looked back over to him, in an attempt to shake off the sad feeling she pursed a weak cat half smile and nodded loosely releasing a shallow sigh and shaking her pelt, growing to a stand. "just like everybody else ya' know. but they are stupid, I'd rather not look a fool in front of a ' potential friend '." she meowed, in a sort of mock tone her golden eyes shifting daringly to his, her half smirk never fading. "My names heatherpaw. How bout you?"

"Yeah, I know a couple cats like that," he meowed, Breezepaw immediately coming to mind. But they would be warriors soon, maybe it was time for Blazepaw to grow up and apologize to the dark apprentice. Of course he'd probably just be called weak and lose half his tail.
"Nice to meet you, Heatherpaw," he replied, meeting the she-cat's warm amber eyes with his own olive gaze. "I'm Blazepaw."

Fernpaw was the shyest she-cat in the apprentice den. She never spoke but she wondered if she ever met Blazepaw before she left. She ran away because her father Skywing broke her heart by disowning her. She looked at Blazepaw from her nest and then over at the other she-cat named Heatherpaw.
She shuffled her paws. She needed to talk once in a while but she could never find the right words to anything. The tiny she-cat padded out from her nest. Um...hello, she meowed in a very soft tone.

Heatherpaw's big golden eyes came across his light olive orbs and she gave a quick smirk, her paws out stretched as her back legs pushed off the ground after waggling her hips, she was waiting for the impact of her paws to his cat shoulders.
she looked behind her quickly to see the figure of another she-cat, sheepishly meowing something barely audible. Heather sort of cocked her head. then back to the tom she was practically sitting on. "Ive heard about you I think. but don't listen to rumors, but, I heard your a flirt." Her smirk grew to a wide cat smile.

Fernpaw decided that she needed to speak up. She took a big breath. Hello, she meowed louder now. She swallowed hard because she was nervous and felt awkward around them. She knew they were flirting and she didn't like all of the flirting. She shuffled her paws.

Feeling the she-cat's paws impact on Blazepaw's shoulders, he let her pin him to the ground. "Oh, a playful one are we?" he purred, a glint of his old self in his eyes followed by a sharp grin. "Oh, you heard I'm a flirt? And who told you that?" the tom murrowed with amusement.
Hearing the soft meow of another apprentice, he wondered if she was talking to Heatherpaw and him but ignored it at first. It seemed so common for apprentices to mutter to themselves nowaday; CloudClan knew what reason. But the she-cat spoke louder this time, and he heard a clear 'Hello'.
Blazepaw angled his ears and turned his head on the mossy floor to see the brown and white tabby. "Oh, hey! Sorry, I guess we didn't see you there." Gently pushing off Heatherpaw he shook the moss balls out of his pelt and formally introduced himself. "I'm Blazepaw. What's your name?"

Heatherpaw bounds gracefully off of that golden muscular tom she was flirting with and looks to the new female with domination in her eyes teleporting her thoughts to the new females head: BLAZPAUW IYZ MEIN.
Heatherpaw's paws carry her to a sit, opposite both of their directions, her golden eyes a bit jealous, in all honesty. She looked away with a blank expression and nodded slightly. "uh Hi. I'm Heather." she meowed softly.

Fernpaw stood up straight now and walked out from behind her nest and padded forward. Her dark blue eyes shined in the sunlight as it peaked into the den. Her fluffy tail curled around her paws when she sat down. I-I'm Fernpaw, she meowed quietly.
She was so shy that sometimes she didn't even know if her friends even saw her half the time. She gave a shy smile to Heatherpaw and Blazepaw. Nice to meet you Blazepaw and Heatherpaw, she meowed sweetly and clearer.

Seeing Heatherpaw suddenly turn away from the both of them, Blazepaw began to feel uncomfortable. Maybe she's just shy?
"Well good to meet you too, Fernpaw. So is every apprentice nowaday quiet and shy?" he joked, regarding Fernpaw's soft voice and Heatherpaw's turning away from the newcomer. "What's the matter, Heatherpaw? You got your tongue?" the dark ginger tom gave her a playful nudge.

Heatherpaw looked at him with a ' oh thats real funny ' face and gave a small snicker her big golden eyes giving the slightest roll. Trying to keep every lady. "I am not shy. only weak cats are shy." she muttered looking at Fernpaw with a blank stare and a whisker twitch. She stood up to her paws, keeping her poseur and licked her paw.

Fernpaw didn't like Blazepaw's comment about her shyness. She flattened her ears feeling anger stirr up inside of her. She turned er head away. Well I'm sorry I'm soft spoken, she growled quietly letting all of her anger show. Great another tom just like my dad...not willing to except me for who I am, she thought bitterly.
When Fernpaw looked back at Heatherpaw she sensed jealousy and not shyness. She didn't know what she had to be jealous of. Her heart didn't belong to any cat at the moment. She shook her head at Heatherpaw. Well I'm sorry I can't be as perfect as you, she meowed irritated with narrowed eyes.

"Ya, I'm sorry for you too." Heatherpaw meowed with a snort hurt golden eyes furious as she got to her paws and glared at her with a low growl. "You don't even know me, so I'd back off miss to shy to speak."

Fernpaw rolled her eyes. She let out a low deep growl. Hey just because I'm shy at first doesn't describe who I am miss cocky flirt, she meowed standing up. She wasn't that little anymore. She wasn't a runt anymore...she was normal sized apprentice now...thankfully.
