Furzepaw. Finally an apprentice. One of the newest apprentice. She wasn't scared of being with the older apprentice. She was actually pretty excited. To bad she had no friends. Maybe Whiskerpaw, but she only talked to her once. Featherfall? Nah, he had much more friends. He practically ditched her, but she didn't care that much. She could make more. She entered the apprentice's den. She buzzed with excitement. She had no bed yet, so that was one thing she had to do. She looked around. Can at least someone assist me? She sighed softly to herself. Her eyes scanned around the den. Um... Hello? She said.

Smiling like an idiot, Jaypaw trotted into the den as quietly as possible, creeping up behind the ginger she-cat. The calico had seen her come in, the first one from the new batch. So he decided to help out and be a bit mature and not useless.
"Hello to you too, newbie. Need help?"

Furzepaw heard a voice behind her. It was deeper than a she-cat's voice, so it must be a tom. She rose one of her kitty cat eyebrows. She turned her head to see a calico tom. A small smile creep onto her lip. Her tail waved in a greeting. She nodded her head slightly. She turned around and padded towards the other cat with a friendly smile. Sure. She answered his question. Oh, my name is Furzepaw, by the way. She introduced herself.

Where Fernpaw sat and hid all you could see were her deep mazy blue eyes. The she-cat was always shy to newcomers especially ones she had never seen. She sat in the shadows trying to hide as much as possible. She watched the two. One about her age, maybe a little older and one new apprentice who still smelled like the nursery. She took a deep breath and padded out of the shadows. She approached the two. Um...hello I'm Fernpaw, she meowed with a small smile.

The copper tabby she-cat saw another cat approach them. Fernpaw was who she introduced herself as. She still didn't receive the tom's name though. A smile was her exspression on her face. The other she-cat seemed shy or was something wrong with Furzepaw? Not sure what was wrong. Oh well. Hello Fernpaw, my name is Furzepaw. She introduced herself again. Her eyes began to scan around the nests looking for an empty one. She looked back at the two. Um, is there any empty beds that I can sleep on for the night? She asked trying to ask them for assistants.

Fernpaw tilted her head at Furzepaw's question. Um...yeah there's one next to mine that's empty. I forgot who slept there. Blazesomething, she meowed pointing to the nest next to her. She smiled sweetly at her.

Furzepaw looked at the spot that she pointed at. She remembered someone named Blazepaw, now Blazestorm, become a warrior the same day she became an apprentice. That must be who she was talking about. A small smile was stretched on her face. She turned back to look at Fernpaw. Thanks. She said gratefully. Now that's checked off of her lists on what she had to do. So who are your mentors? My mentor is Duskfall. She said to them. She didn't meet Duskfall before. She hoped she would be a good mentor.

Fernpaw smiled and layed down in her own nest. She rested her head on her paws gently an blinked her eyes softly. She heard the question of mentors. Mine is Tinywhisker though she hasn't trained me in a while. I think I'm going to need a new one soon, she meowed with a small shrug.

The small apprentice nodded in reply. She hoped Tinkywhisker would continue to train Fernpaw, or Fernpaw should get a new mentor soon. She looked back at the tom. How bout' you? She asked with a friendly smile. She began to wash her small white paws thoroughly and brush them over her ears. Her tail swished from side to side as she waited for his response.

Jaypaw kept quiet the whole time, not really caring if he was thrown away and ignored by the two she-cats. He was kind of used to what these females do by now. He understood.
So quietly, he waited until either of the two noticed him. And Furzepaw was the first to.
"My mentor's Ferndrop. Oh, and my name's Jaypaw. Sorry for not telling you earlier. It's nice to meet you too, by the way. And you too Fernpaw."

Furzepaw nodded her head again. Another warrior didn't she didn't know that well. Well the only warrior that she ever communicated to was Featherfall. That was all. Jaypaw. Cool name. She really didn't know what to say now. She was bad at small talk. She was new at all this apprentice stuff, and she didn't really knew what apprentices do for fun. Hm.... She murmured softly.

Fernpaw tucked her paws under her. How much training have you done? she asked Jaypaw and Furzepaw. She tilted her head to the side. She was almost done with training. She only had battle training then her assessment then she would be a warrior of Treeclan.

Furzepaw looked back at Fernpaw as she asked a question. She was glad that Fernpaw broke the short moment of silence. My mentor didn't train me yet. I hope she will start training me soon. She said with a small sigh. Her gaze trailed off looking around the den. It was way different from the nursery, but it was a fine sleeping place. It wasn't as crowded as the nursery, so that was good. And it wasn't as noisy as the nursery.

Fernpaw nodded her head. I just have battle training then my assessment, she meowed with a small smile. She wanted to wait for Echokit and Furzepaw and all of her friends. She sighed and hoped that her best friend would be here soon in the den.

Jaypaw tipped his head to the side, thinking of what he had recently gone through with Ferndrop. The calico's tail swept back and forth. Amber eyes flashed to Furzepaw as she spoke.
"I only got through territory and halfway into hunting," he finally answered.
"And don't worry if you're mentor hasn't trained you yet Furze. Maybe Duskfall just wants you to get used to the new den and get to know the other apprentices like me and Fernpaw."
