Forestbreak? {P}

Vaporpaw was out hunting earlier today, and brought three voles back into camp. She dropped one off at the nursery, another to the freshkill pile, and the last one would be to the cat she gets along with most. Forestbreak? Are you in here? She asked somewhat nervously, putting the vole down.

The siamese wasn't sure how much the medicine cat had heard of what she was brought forth for in the clan meeting. She just wanted to stop by, and talk to her.

"Yes, I am." Forestbreak was rarely absent from her den- she only ever left to grab some prey or get refreshed after a day hard at work. The tabby she-cat emerged from the corner, her fur flecked with bits of dried herbs that she had been weeding out. "Oh, hello, Vaporpaw. It's nice to see you."

"What do you need, dear?" she asked, surveying the appentice curiously. She didn't seem to be sick or injured. She noticed that she'd brought in some prey, and smiled once she realized the kind gesture.

Vaporpaw smiled when she saw Forestbreak. Hello Ms. Forestbreak. She pointed at the vole. I Just thought i'd bring this for you. So.... How are things lately? She asked rather nervous as she wondered how the medicine cat would react.

"Thank you very much," mewed Forestbreak, purring. The gray medicine cat leaned over and grasped the vole in her jaws. "It's always nice when cats bring in fresh-kill. Sometimes I'm too busy to get some myself," she chuckled. Setting the prey down, she curled her tail neatly around her paws. "Things are good. Herbs are growing with plenty. There's less sickness. All things new-leaf brings." A small smile payed on the corner of her muzzle. "So, what is it you would like to talk about?"

She smiled at Forestbreak. Your welcome. I just wanted to let you know, if you need help collecting herbs or want prey I'll help you out. You've done so much to this clan, I thought I'd be nice and do something to thank you with. Vaporpaw said with a little smile.

"Oh, thank you. That's very kind of you." Forestbreak offered a smile, flicking her ringed tail. "If I ever need someone to escort me to collect herbs anytime soon, I'll be sure to come to you. Once you're a warrior, I mean, but I'm sure that will be fairly soon. You're already older than many new warriors." She took a small bite from the vole, chewed, and swallowed. "It's very good. Thank you."

She dipped her head. Once you're a warrior ... I'm sure that will be soon... Vaporpaw held those words in her mind. If only. She thought sadly, but kept a small smile on her muzle. Alrighty then, I shall leave you in peace... I must see how, the other apprentices are. She said, and turned to pad out the door.
