Kit:
As a kit, Darkwing was pretty much afraid of everything. His best friends were Mossfeather and Sunshadow. After a near death incident of being buried in the snow, he developed a severe fear of water and snow. He was assigned Dreamwing as a mentor.
Apprenticeship:
As an apprentice, his best friends were Mossfeather, Tanglepelt, Songheart, Tulipdrop, and Sunshadow. At one point, Darkwing tried conquer his fear of water, and like an idiot, jumped into the river in Iceclan territory. He slammed his head against one of the rocks and received head injury, causing him to act strangely for a while.
After several moons, when he was back to normal, three of his best friends all at once revealed they had crushes on him; Tanglepelt, Songheart, and Tulipdrop. He turned them all down saying he didn't want a mate.
Dreamwing, his mentor, vanished. He looked and looked, but she was no where to be found. So his friend Songheart offered to finish his training.
Warrior:
His young brother, Crimsonkit, was born. They didn't get along. Crimsonkit hated him with a passion.
As soon as he became a warrior, Darkwing realized his whole life he had been making mistakes, one after another. So he decided to leave Iceclan. Sneaking out of camp in the middle of the night, he was caught be Mossfeather, and he promised her one day he would come back.
One entire year passed.
Darkwing returned to be held at claw point with his brother Crimsonpaw. A group of Iceclan cats were fighting, some on his defense, others on Crimson's defense. Crimsonpaw lost the fight and exiled himself to rogue territory.
After a year, Darkwing had no clue what to expect. Mossfeather was currently prisoner in Fireclan, Songheart was either dead or missing, and most of his other friends were gone. Everyone except Tanglepelt.
After Treeclan left Iceclan after the fire they had, his friend Mossfeather was set free, and a strange Fireclan cat, Emberstorm, claimed to be his and Crimson's brother. This turned out to be true. His parents were both rogues, and somehow he had ended up with Iceclan kits. After Emberstorm was taken prisoner, Darkwing witnessed Emberstorm being tortured by his clan mates and was horrified. He helped Emberstorm only to fail and be put in prison him self. After being let out a week later, he began becoming better friends with his brother, and went with him when Emberstorm talked to Fireclan and Iceclan. Later, after Sunshadow and Songheart returned, and Emberstorm gave up on his plans to attack Deathclan, something made Darkwing crazy.
Darkwing did some stupid stuff. No surprise there. After a few days, he returned to his sanity. Months later, he was caught in an avalanche, breaking two of his legs and blinding him in one eye.
Important cats in Darkwing's life
Mossfeather - One of his two best friends. She was the first cat he ever met. They've been best friends since they were kits. Although, they have very different personalities.
Tanglepelt - One of his two best friends. They've been best friends since apprenticeship. She was his only friend when he came back to Iceclan. She once had a crush on him.
Crimson - His full brother, raised in Iceclan. He tried to kill Darkwing, but now he has been exiled to rogue territory. Even so, he still would like to kill Darkwing.
Emberstorm - His full brother, raised in Fireclan. Darkwing just met, him, he's not quite sure what to think about him yet. But he seems a little... off.
Songheart - One of his old best friends, who gave him his final assessment. She once had a crush on him.
Dreamwing - Darkwing's first mentor. She disappeared for a while then came back. He doesn't know it, but apparently she likes him.
Sunshadow - Another one of his old best friends, from back when he was an apprentice. She was made a warrior before him, even though she was younger. For some reason, she seems to hate him now.
Tulipdrop - The last of his best friends from while he was an apprentice. She disappeared a while ago, but returned recently. She had a crush on him while they were apprentices.
Darkwing's acquaintances
Falconwing - He never knew him too well, but they have talked several times. Usually, he gets the feeling Falconwing doesn't like him very much, most likely because of all the hateful things Crimson said about Darkwing.
Destinedspirit - They don't really know each other to well, but they always seem to run into one another. He considers her an ally.
