So this she-cat actually thought she could get away with talking to her son like that? Why did she give Stormpaw her as a mentor? Either way, Sandleaf wasn't going to let Swiftflight get off so easily. She was going to have some real explaining to do. Slipping out of the nursery, the queen was relived to see that she was the only one up. She liked it that way sometimes.
But now, she had buisness to attend to. Practically tip-toeing across camp, the sandy cat entered the warriors den, not having to step over too many cants before she got to Swiftflight. She looked down at her a moment, disgusted and horrified at the same time. Yes, Stormpaw was her favorite of Littlepools kits, and she was very protective of him. She had to be. He was scared inside and she knew it too. She wanted to keep him safe more than anything.
Looking down at the warrior again, the queen kicked her paw gently with her own, urging her to get up. "You. Get up, now. We have something to talk about." she meowed, little to no kindness in her voice. Sandleaf couldn't and wouldn't be nice to this cat no matter what. Not unless she gave a good point as to why she was being a jerk to her son.
