i hate hawks

[Greyshadow]

Greyshadow entered the medicine cats den in pain. Greyshadow was minding his own in a tree when a hawk came out of nowhere. With its out stretched talons. It crashed into him cutting him in his flank with razor sharp talons. Plus the force knocked him out of the tree branch. Greyshadows shoulders still stung from the fall." Hello forestbreak" greyshadow called.

"Hey there," mewed Forestbreak. "Oh, Greyshadow, is that you? I haven't seen you in quite some time- hm, you've got quite the scratch there, haven't you?" She lowered her head to inspect where the tom's flank had been slashed. It was not jagged, she saw, so it had probably been another creature- cat or otherwise- that had injured him. Good, less chance of infection.

Still, she quickly chewed some marigold into a poultice and applied it, then began dressing the wound with cobwebs.

Greyshadow winced and grinned " yeah its been a while so how is things?" Greyshadow asked its been a long time since he spoke to the medicine cat. Its been a while since he was injured " yeah a hawk got me, same as the last time i was here with leo i really dislike them" greyshadow said as forestbreak treated his wounds.

"Oh, I've been fine. The herbs are growing plentifully. There is less sickness now that newleaf is here and greenleaf is approaching." She smiled as she finished dressing the wound. "A hawk, eh? Nasty creatures, they are. You're lucky it didn't injure you any worse." Purring, the medicine cat stepped back. "All right. That should do for now. Don't remove the cobwebs until the wounds are clearly healed, and try not to reopen them."

The medicine cat gingerly patted his back with her tail. "Need anything? Water, food?"
