It was a little late for sometime around what would be 10:52. Echopaw was having sleeping troubles, he was just, nervous about training, it was all there and he couldn't take it, it seemed. He moaned as his eyes flickered opened and he looked around the dark den, there were no kits, no queens, it was like he was meant not to be watched, as if they could party as long they were quiet, but he couldn't do that. He had to be responsible, but when he couldn't sleep, he didn't know what to do, he didn't want to talk to anyone and make it so they get up sleepy, he missed the nursery. You could talk as long as voices low to avoid the queens sense of hearing. He wanted to talk, but his mouth wouldn't work as he watched.

Nightpaw was coming in from her nighttime walk, she usually took one because she liked being out in the cool of the night. The forest concealed her pelt as if it was just a silver reflection from the moon bouncing off the trees. She began curling up into her nest, only to feel the presence of someone awake. Lifting her head she peered around to see Echopaw still awake. He was one of the newer apprentices and she wasn't surprised to see him up. Tilting her head she flicked her ear as if to ask what he was doing up, concern glowing in her blue eyes.

Echopaw heard paw steps, he gazed up to see Nightpaw, his head rose further. "Nightpaw? What are you doing up?" Echopaw whispered as he sat up in his nest.

Redpaw's eyes fluttered open like two orange butterflies. Most apprentices would have told them off for talking while everyone was trying to sleep, but truthfully, Redpaw wasn't one to talk. Loud, skinny, talkative, short, and laughable were some of his main traits. He leaned over his nest toward them, "Whatcha guys doing?"

Blackpaw awoke with a start, hearing some apprentices chatting. She reckognkzed two, Redpaw and Nightpaw. The other tom was unkmown to her. Redpaw's nest was next to Black's so whennhe talked, it woke her up easily. "Hmm? Huh?" she murmured sleepily with a ywan, her eyes narrowed into slits.

Redpaw looked at the stars, then teased Black, "Nothing. Go back to sleep."

Blackpaw sat up, and frowned playfully. "No way am i going back to sleep and missing out on the fun!" she mewed, pushing Red.

Nightpaw shrugged, "I prefer to hunt at night, why do you think the prey pile has fresh kill when you wake up at dawn?" She looked at the others who had woken up. Blackpaw and Redpaw. Nightpaw flicking her ear in greeting to them. "NIGHT is better." She purred.

Echo only recognized Nightpaw, the other two he didn't know, but they acted like blood kin that snapped at each other. He watched them for a few seconds, he was going to speak up soon. He was wondering who these two other cats were though. "Well I only know Nightpaw here. So I am Echopaw, who are you two?" Echopaw asked in a whisper. He didn't want to wake anyone else. "Sorry if I woke you, I never meant to." Echopaw apologized. He didn't mean to at all and he wanted them to know he was sorry.

Blackpaw smiled at the tom. "No,mits fine. Im used to it. My mentor wakes me early. And I'm Blackpaw, nice to meet you Echopaw. This is my friend Redpaw." she pureed, dipping her head to the apprentice.

Nightpaw curled up in her nest and felt her eyes beginning to flutter shut, lifting her head again she tried to shake the sleepiness off, but it was quite a hard thing to do. Moaning Nightpaw began to give herself a washing to attempt to keep herself awake.
