After the ceremony Windpaw nearly sprinted to the apprentice den. She needed to adjust. She needed to make a nest and needed to get used to the fact that she was now an apprentice and would be going into the territory sometime soon.
Windpaw walked into the apprentice den then stopped. She was the smallest again. She had been the largest in the den just a day ago, and now she was the smallest an the youngest. She sighed. She would always grow up again.
Windpaw took a few more steps in then wondered if she'd make more friends here. She shrugged. It didn't entirely matter. She laughed and then bounded over to a spot that wasn't filled with nests and sat down.
She looked around. Windpaw wondered if Slypaw had found a nest yet, but she guessed it didn't really matter. She'd have to be more independent as she was now an apprentice and no longer a kit. She was older and stronger.
Windpaw gathered together some moss and then sat down on it for a nest. She guessed she could make it better later, but for now it would do. She watched as all the other apprentices walked around the den, leaving and going.
I'm happy you've become an apprentice Windpaw. The voice said and she smiled. "Well thank you." She meowed. It made her happy to know that the voice was proud of her and it eloped that she'd learn how to fight.

"OMG Windpaw!" Redpaw exclaimed, strolling into the den after a long day of training, "I haven't seen you in like forever!" He was really happy to see his friend. After all, Windpaw had been one of the first kitty cats he had ever met creeping into the large world of TreeCannery.
He grinned, listening to her talk to herself, "Still got that voice in your head?" He waited a moment before continuing, "It's ok, you gonna be taught to fight fantastically." Redpaw was really hyper right now.
He watched her gaze, "You looking for Slypaw's nest? Don't worry, Blackpaw put it next to hers and Blackpaw put hers next to mine." His forest green eyes shone, "Come on, I'll help you make yours."

Blackpaw crouched in her nest, waiting for Redpaw to come along. He was with a strange she-cat Blackpaw had never met before. "BOO!" she yolwed when Redpaw came towards her, hoping to scare him. Then she smiled and nodded at the she-cat. "I'm Blackpaw, whats your name?"

When Redpaw came up to her Windpaw smiled. It was nice to see somebody she knew. She hadn't seen Redpaw in a long while, although she hadn't really been outside the nursery much either.
"Well if it isn't Redpaw. It's good to see you." She meowed and kind of wondered if Wolfpaw was nearby too. She remembered him because she had met the both of them at the same time.
Windpaw kind of stiffened when he asked about the voice in her head. It seemed he knew about it, but it was still weird since she hadn't told anybody and he shouldn't know about it, but she guessed it didn't matter.
When he asked if she was looking for Slypaw's nest she nodded a little. "Actually yes." She meowed and then listened to what he said about where his nest was. Who was Blackpaw?
Windpaw got up to follow him and when they got to where they were apparently supposed to be she saw another she-cat that must be Blackpaw. Windpaw nodded in greeting.
When the cat yelled boo though she kind of flinched. She didn't really leave though, and when the cat introduced herself Windpaw smiled. "My name's Windpaw." She told the other she-cat.

(Oh and sorry for the voice thing I couldn't remember if Windpaw told anyone. I'll make Redpaw magically.... forget it. -poof-)
Redpaw blinked, "Uh, seriously?" He told Blackpaw, raising his eyebrows slightly.
He turned to Windpaw, "Yup." He sucked his breath in, "That." He pointed tiredly to the dark she-cat, "Is Blackpaw."
The russet tom gave a quick grin before walking silently over to where his nest was, clawing some moss from his and some of the others, "We're going to have to change these soon, but for now, this will do." He shrugged, and glanced up at Windpaw, "Or we can go and get some new moss now if you want."

Minnowpaw/Wolfpaw watched warily as a new cat entered the den and sniffed around, then as Redpaw and Blackpaw joined her. She strained against her short, very bad memory, trying to recall if she knew this cat, when something clicked. She imagined a lightbulb appearing over her cream head and smiled. "Windki — no, you must be Windpaw now!" she exclaimed, grinning. Her pale white pelt glowed like starlight in the gloomy den and she shook the moss out of it as she stood, purring, and bounded over to stand by Red and Black.
The she-cat's deep blue orbs cast a suspicious glance over her shoulder before she let out a pent-up breath. "I'm Minnowpaw, if you don't remember," the tiny apprentice meowed quietly, suddenly shy. She swished her long, snake-like tail back and forth in the dust, her fur darkening from the dirt, and sneezed. "Aaachoo!" With an apologetic glance at Windpaw, she whispered, laughing silently at herself, "Oh, sorry. 'Scuse me."
