Sometimes I wish that I could be old enough...

[Mossheart]

Mosspaw was again, alone, and trying to calm herself down. /I have friends/ she told herself. Her anger seemed impossible... she wished she could just run as far as she could, just get away from everything. But she was an apprentice. She felt like a kit. Mosspaw closed her eyes /so there's Cavernfall, Honeyfang.../ she bit her lip and tried to think /Flameheart and Softheart... and.... and.../ that was it. Her calico fur was fluffed out in frustration as she curled up in her nest. She buried her spotted face into her paws /Why can't I have some friends my age? Or something.../ She was alone. Everyone. Everyone she had known was a warrior now. Mosspaw was left behind.

[Flameheart]

Flameheart had scented a cat that she hasn't scented in a while. Her friend Mosspaw. She missed that she-cat a lot so she decided to pay her a visit. She limped into the apprentice den. Mosspaw, she me owes limping running up to her friend and nuzzling her gently.

[Mossheart]

Mosspaw's face peered around her paws "Flameheart?" she mewed. "Flameheart!" the calico she-cat jumped to her paws. At first she was excited to see an old friend but she paused, glancing down at Flameheart's leg "What happened?".

[Flameheart]

(Remember she got crippled as an apprentice from a fox attack.)
Flameheart followed her gaze. She must have forgotten about that, she thought. Oh you remember the fox attack when I was an apprentice and I was with Cavern fall my brother, she meowed with a small chuckle.

[Mossheart]

(I wasn't there for that I don't think... I remember the other scar you got though)
Mosspaw nodded "I remember" she flicked her tail. "How have you been?" a small grin lit up her face.

[Flameheart]

Flameheart licked her cheek. I've been fine. How about you? Where did you go? she meowed nudging her gently. She was so happy that she was back.

[Mossheart]

Moss paw shrugged, her fur growing hot /I didn't leave... But you and everyone else became warriors and I got left behind.../ she shook the thought off "I didn't go anywhere... I just haven't seen you in a while I guess". Mosspaw's green eyes sparkled it didn't matter, she was just so glad to see her friend again.

[Flameheart]

Flameheart flattened her ears a little and sighed. Oh...um...I'm sorry about that. I should have visited more often, she meowed quietly with a shake of her head.

[Mossheart]

Mosspaw grinned lopsidedly "It's fine". Her paws itched a little bit as she realized how awkward things had grown between her friend and her. She didn't mind though... Or at least she didn't think. /Let it go!/ she snapped at herself.
