Burrs

"Owwwwoww!", Moonkit was exploring camp and had stumbled into lots of burrs. "It hurts!" She complained. Those mouse brained burrs! I think I'll go to the medicine den, but I can hardly move. What will I do?

*Mistykit padds in* "Are you okay Moonkit? You look hurt!"she said.

"Of course I am hurt you mouse brain!" (I am just joking but trying to think like a cat) "I am covered in burrs! Would you or somebody please go get the medicine cat?"

[Forestbreak]

(Mistykit, you do not need to be in the den if you are not injured.)

Forestbreak padded towards Moonkit. "Ouch!" she purred, looking at the kit covered in burrs. "Don't worry. I'll get those out for you" She smiled and grasped a burr in her teeth, then quickly and expertly yanked it out. She continued until all the burrs were out.

"There you go." She purred again and placed her tail over the kitten's shoulders. "Do you need any cobwebs?"

"Thank you! That feels much better, you are a great medicine cat!" *Moonkit smiles* "As for the cobwebs, maybe just a few behind my ear, Thanks!", says Moonkit.

[Forestbreak]

Forestbreak purred. "You're very welcome. And I'm glad you think I'm a good medicine cat. I try my best." She smiled. "Yes, of course."

The medicine cat padded to the back of the den and emerged with a tiny bundle of cobwebs. Silently, she began patting them behind the kit's ear. "Okay, there you go. You're all set. Now, remember not to go running into any more burrs, okay?" Chuckling, she retreated to her nest.

"Alright, I will!", thanked Moonkit. *Moonkit happily pads back to the nursery*
