The bright orange tom was sitting in the apprentices den. He was bored. He wished he could be a warrior already. He sighed softly. He barely had any friends too. I never saw Windsong and Blackpelt in a long time They're warriors already. He was stuck an apprentice. He hoped he could meet someone else. Um, hello? He said cocking his head slightly to the side.

Moth ran into the den blindly, her mouth clamped shut as it was filled with moss and feathers. She skidded to a stop, her large paws tripping her up as they always had and she barreled into a cat. She dropped all the moss from her mouth and it exploded into the air like dandelion seeds on the wind. Her blue-green eyes closed as she braced herself for a scolding about watching where she was going. Slowly, she opened an eye to see a ginger tom. She scrambled up, her eyes wide, "I'm so sorry! Please forgive me! Feel free to punish me!" She bowed her head, her tail fluffed up and her head down as well as her gaze.

Slypaw saw one of the newer apprentices rush into the den. She was heading towards him. It was to late now. She tumbled over him. He groaned a little. He shook off the dust that was in his pelt. His blue eyes looked at the small she-cat apprentice. A smirk formed on his face when she apologized. No worries, it was just an accident. It happens to everyone. He said to her. He sat up, his eyes focused on her. I'm Slypaw. He introduced.

Her head rose a bit, inclined to look the ginger tom in the face. He was average, blue eyes, healthy, he was almost picture perfect, an apprentice, just as she was now. It was weird how she had to keep reminding herself of her rank and what that meant to her. She was to be respectful of this older than her and lenient on those younger. She wondered what the life of an elder meant... She shook her head mentally, no need to get sidetracked. Mothpaw smirked slightly, sheepishly she nodded, "Everyone huh? Well, in that case…my name is Mothpaw. It's a pleasure to meet you." Her voice rose as she grew in confidence. Her eyes glanced to the moss now scattered around them. She'd have to clean this up....

Slypaw smiled brightly as she introduced herself as Mothpaw. He looked at the moss that was scattered all over the ground. His blue eyes looked back at her. Don't worry about that. I'll pick it up. He said. He started to gather up all the moss, and handed placed it at her paws. There you go. He said. So, who's your mentor? He asked. My mentor is Spottedbird. He continued.

She watched him, her pelt growing warm. Well now she felt like a burden. It was her mess, shouldn't she pick it up. In her head she was rubbing her face and moaning over how badly mannered she was being. What kind of future warrior was she?! Mothpaw stared at the moss as he dropped it at her feet, she smiled softly. It was nice though, to have someone look after her. Hadn't had that happened since she had her brother. He wasn't here though as it seemed.... "M-My mentor? That would be...Greenflower." She had no idea who Spottedbird was, she had never met any warriors so they were all new names. "Um…thank you." She said looking back at the moss.

Slypaw listened as she named her mentor. He never met Greenflower before, but he never met her before. A small smile was on his face as she thanked him. Your welcome. Any time. He replied back. He liked helping other cats. He didn't know what to say now. He was bad a small talk. He looked down at his paw and then back at her.

She shuffled her paws as she thought about what to do next. She picked up the bundle of bedding and set to work placing her nest near the back where there was room, she didn't mind. In fact she rather liked it, she was more of a Leafbare cat than a Greenleaf one. It was perhaps a little odd for a cat, but that was his she liked it. And besides, she wasn't going to be the only cat back there. She looked back to Slypaw, "Would it be too much of a bother if I asked about the territories? I'm afraid I know next to nothing about them." She explained, shaping the new nest her own liking.

Slypaw watched as she made her bed. He listened to her question. It's fine, but I only know only a little bit about the territories. He said to her. He never went to all of the territories, but he knew a few things about the territories.

She trotted back, sitting down in front if him like a child to their grandparent and cocked her head to the side. She curled her tail simply about her paws and looked up at him. He was fairly taller than her, the age difference was a bit sad a if seemed that he would become a warrior before her. Even if they may not be the closest of friends yet, it still saddened her to see someone leave.

Slypaw smiled as she sat down by him like he was an elder going to tell a kit a tale. All I know is Iceclan's territory is on a very steep mountain, where it's very cold. They have the most terrible snowstorms. Fireclan lives on a moor, that's why their clan name is Fireclan. Lastly, Rockclan lives near a cliff where there are lots of rocks and stuff. But that's pretty much it. I only got to see Iceclan, but not the others. I only heard of their descriptions. He said. He must sound cocky now, since he spilled all the information out to her.

She was definitely excited to start her training, nothing could top it off! He eyes were all on Sly as he spun an explanation of the four clans. Iceclan, she could picture the cats having longer coats and maybe lighter colors to fit in with the snow and what not. Fireclan, more brown and grey pelts to match the grasses, lithe bodies and sharp noses. Rockclan, dark colors, bulky cats with pride in their eyes. She could see it now! Mothpaw smiled, "That was perfect! Thank you!" She cheered, her tail waving like a flower.

Slypaw smiled at how she was so happy about learning those facts. No problem. He said to her. He was glad that he could help her. Any more questions? He asked. He kinda felt like a mentor. But he still didn't learn all the boundaries, and he didn't know any battle moves.

She shook her head, getting up and wiggling about like a small kit. It would take her some time to become more sophisticated as an apprentice should. But for now she would keep her playful demeanor, the child within. "Thank you very much. So what would you like to do now?" She asked, padding over and glancing around him to the camp. She could see cats idly walking by going about their business. Maybe they could do something that would help her get used to the move. She knew almost no one here.

Slypaw didn't really know what to do. Hm. He said. They could do anything. We can walk around camp, play a game, eat something at the fresh-kill pile, anything you want to do. He said continuing to smile. He curled his tail around his white paws.
