Mothpaw knew she should probably get to meeting the others, but she was tired. With such a day her poor little head was filled with so many ideals, she was excited and all, but she was tired. Her eyes heavy, she sat just outside, her grey back leaning independently on the wall of the den. She didn't feel like going to bed either, it was late, but it was too early as well. She hung her head, something she had begun to see as a habit. She looked up, her blue-green eyes glinting with something she could not recognize. Nostalgia? Loneliness? Who knew? She didn't even move as a silhouette sat beside her, their face hidden by shadows and darkness like a black veil…

It spoke. She turned her head to see the black tom she had seen so many times before. His name was Mossypaw or something if she remembered. She had never really talked to him but he seemed nice enough. She smirked, her weariness ebbing away slowly. "Hi there." She greeted with a wave of her tail.

Spokenpaw woke up early, not very sure why. She wasn't used to waking up early. But today she did. She looked at the slight gray on the horizon. The dawn would be coming on soon. She decided to watch the stars until it was time to train today. The stars were difficult to see because of the trees with their branches overhanging the den somewhat. Spokenpaw looked around to see if there were anymore earlybirds awake yet. She spotted two apprentices chatting. She padded up to them. "Hello," she mouthed. She hoped they could see her lips moving okay in the dark.

Sagekit woke up from the apprentice's den really early, not sure why. Maybe the deputy or something was calling a dawn patrol or something. I just want to go back to sleep! I don't even have any friends and I get so bored here! Then she heard some cats talking. It was so early! What were they doing! Before she snapped, she thought. Maybe they could be my future friends and if I get mad at them, there is no way that that is going to happen. Maybe I should just ask nicely for them to quiet down, and then we can talk more in the morning when it is brighter, maybe Sunhigh. "Hey guys", she said in a whisper, "could you try to be a little quieter?", she asked politely.

Spokenpaw saw another cat come up but didn't see what she said. "Hello!" she mouthed.

"Hi spokenpaw!", she mouthed. (Is your cat deaf?).
