Uh..Yes? I think? Maybe?

I don't think elders are allowed to go on raids, but I do believe they are permitted to take place in battles in their own camp. Or at least, that would make the most sense.

The age rule is somewhat...Odd, and not 100% efficient. While a newly made apprentice would probably never beat a new warrior, an almost-warrior-apprentice could probably match a newly made warrior. Fighting isn't necessarily about a cat's age, but about strength, speed, intelligence and health. For example, the strongest warrior in the Clan would be pretty much useless if they had Green Cough, or a broken bone.

So technically speaking, an elder could fight somewhat well if they had good health, and weren't old and weak. But of course most of VWW's elders are blind, deaf, both or simply too old to really beat anyone in battle.

Then there's also the fact that myself (on Redstorm) and Wildwind are pretty much the only two active elders on VWW anyway. So unless you have a character that is soon to join the Elders of VWW, don't worry about this too much. xD

It's up to them. An elder is completely exempt from most restrictions, and is allowed to travel their Clan's territory without consequence, and take any battle that they darn well please.

My elder can kick another cat from here to the end of next week.

But I guess that's because she retired early. ._. She's still fairly young.
Anyway, considering Firelight is a mentor currently, I would assume she could fight in a battle. However, you're a long ways a way, so I wouldn't be worrying about that just yet. c:

I guess you could, you would just have to be careful, but only as a younger elder, you would probably help protect the kits if it came to it or help your clan in a battle if they absolutely need you.
