It was time. Sagepaw was a warrior. Sagefur was her new name. So until they met again, she would be lonely. Unless, of course, she made some new friends.
Daring to venture beyond her nest, she decided to be more confident in herself. She wasn't a kitten anymore! She was an apprentice! And it was time she started acting like one.
She walked up to the nearest cat and said, "Hi, I'm Kestrelpaw."

Shimmerkit poked her head into the apprentices den. Not seeing the apprentices, she was unaware of them until she stepped on one's tail. "Umm...Hi?" She put on a innocent face.

"Hello, Forestpaw and Shimmerkit. I'm Kestrelpaw and I'm pretty new here. It's nice to meet you both." Kestrelpaw was glad that both the cats she had found were friendly. Actually, Shimmerkit reminded her of herself when she was that young.
