It was very important that she and Silverpaw had this conversation soon, so Kestrelpaw hoped her friend would arrive soon.

Silverpaw padded around the apprentices den, looking for her best friend, Keatrelpaw. She finally found her, sitting in her nest, looking around. She wondered what she was looking for. She padded up to her and said, "Hey Kestrelpaw!" (xD let's try not to make this into the same thread as the other one!)

Silverpaw didn't know what her friend was talking about. (Remember that I am deaf.) She looked at Kestrelpaw, clearly confused. "No, I don't think I have.", she mouthed slowly. "What do you mean by....legend?", she asked her friend, hoping that it would be a cool story filled with adventure and excitement. (I need to go on all of my files to keep them active so I will be on and off of some files.)

Oh, that's right. Silverpaw couldn't hear her, so she should have talked slower. "The new moon...they say that the new moon is when CloudClan sleeps and the darkness rises." This was an old fairy tale among the apprentices, one that she had only heard a few times as a kit.

Silverpaw realized that her friend was talking slower, probably so she could understand her better. She appretiated this, Kestrelpaw was a great friend. "You really don't need to speak slower.", she mouthed. "Remember that my sight improved so I can see really sharp now.", she explained. "Though it is nice, thank you.", she mouthed. Now she thought about what Kestrelpaw had said next. CloudClan and darkness rises. "That sounds a little spooky.", she said, not knowing what else to say.

"It is really spooky," she agreed. "But the problem is that now I can't sleep. Because what if the sun doesn't come up tomorrow?"

Silverpaw wanted to comfort her friend. "It will be fine....", she mouthed, hoping that this was true. "It always comes up, except for that one time like the elders said, but then it came back, it always will. And think about it, if it is always dark, we will get to see CloudClan every minute of the day!"
