Silverpaw sat in the apprentices den. She was looking for her best friend, Kestrelpaw. She had become a warrior long before she had, so they had not seen each other in a while. She looked forward to this happy reunion. She walked around the den, and finally spotted her. "Hi!", she called.

Silver! She ran over to her friend, tail high and ears forward. "It's been a while. I haven't seen you since we were both in the nursery! It's great to see you again!"

Silverpaw turned to see her friend talking to her. "Hi Kestrelpaw! It is so good to see you! I haven't seen you since we were both kits in the nursery! So, who did you get as you mentor? I got Antfur, he seems nice but he doesn't seem to be around much....", she mouthed.

"Raggedclaw is my mentor," she answered her friend. "He's pretty good, very smart. And he had Antfur as his mentor I think..."

"Oh what a coincidence!", she mouthed. "My mentor right now is Antfur. He trains me hard, I have to wake up every morning before the dawn patrol even leaves. It is also hard training while I am deaf.", she explained, looking sad.
